Lovely few days in Bowness .Fantastic location, some great restaurants within a few minutes walk.

Everything about this property, location and communication was amazing, very clean very warm, central location, the lake view, would definitely recommend, the price was good. .would easily have stayed another night, but needed to get back for work

Decent stay.

Location with restaurants and the coop nearby. Good wifi and well equipped kitchen. Lake within walking distance but involves steep slope. Bus stops a stone’s throw away.

Lovely wee apartment, place and town. Owner was perfect!

We spoke to the owner by phone and she was so helpful and just really nice. We would use this apartment again as it was so central to the lake, shops and pubs/restaurants. My daughter was really happy with the dog blankets, that allowed her dog a comfy bed on the large sofa footrest, so was the dog! Very good value for money

Comfortable accommodation, central location, a great place to stay if you're visiting The Lakes.

Heated towel rail in the spacious bathroom was great for drying the towels and warmed the room up just right. Everything was at hand in the apartment from a hairdryer to washing up liquid and so on. There's everything a family/couple could use if staying for a while such as a washing machine, cooking equipment and a dining table. It's basically a home from home. The location is great with everything on your doorstep such as restaurants, cafes, bars, gift shops and a couple of mini supermarkets. though it is still fairly peaceful, at night all we heard was occasional traffic passing by. The Lake is a 5 minute stroll down the road and there is a bus stop there . There's a regular service that runs through all the major spots such as Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere and Keswick so you could park up your car for the duration of your stay and travel around easily. We parked ours behind the apartment in a free space.

The location is great. Closed to variety of shops. Coop, gift shops, restaurants, clothes shops. About 10 minutes walk to Lake Windermere.. The view from the room also is great, you can see part of the lake from the window. Parking is easy, except for the first time you have to read a lengthy descriptions on how to park your car, but after that it is easy to access the parking.

Double bed is a bit small for 2 persons.

***Amazing Apartment***

After going to Bowness for many weekend breaks, We always wondered what these apartments were like. From the outside, they don't look great. Wow, how wrong are we! Darcey's apartment is fantastic. It's so clean, beautifully decorated and in a fantastic location. It has a real home from home feel. It has everything you need for a weekend break or longer, The host keeps you informed of parking, key codes, etc. I would highly recommend. Oh, and you get parking too!
