Good for a short stay in Central bowness

Central location next to shops/restaurants and bars. Ample parking. Clean rooms. Comes with towels and general appliances and cleaning products. Warm and cosy

Sofa too small for large groups in living room. No EV charging spot near by. Mattresses too soft

Superb property in excellent location

Location of the property was excellent right in the centre of Bowness with access to shops, bars, restaurants and short walk to the lake. The apartment was clean and offered good facilities with well equipped kitchen, the bedrooms were generous in size. The apartment was clean and tidy. Has good wifi. Car parking was over the road and cost us £21 for 3 days. Would definitely use again as superb value for money

Lots of stairs to the apartment which was difficult with luggage. Not enough comfy seating to accommodate 6 guests so 3 of us had to sit on dining chairs which is not ideal. Could do with a larger frying pan!!.

Spotlessly clean apartment with three decent size rooms. The loft ones though cozy have low ceilings. Comfortable beds and clean linens provided. Towels were clean but a larger size would have been better. Excellent water pressure in the shower, bathroom was once again very clean and neat. A surprise basket of goodies was kept in the spotless kitchen! Good range of cooking equipment provided though we did not use any. Great location. Close to shops and several restaurants within walking distance. Walk up apartment so may not be suited for all.

No confirmation email sent by the property after booking was made, so felt "less welcoming." A message was only sent on the day of arrival giving the door code. Maybe a bit more detail on accessing the house would have been helpful, specially as google maps couldnt locate the exact destination and when we tried to contact the property with the phone number given, it went to voicemail. Thankfully we finally found our way in by ourselves but the responsiveness of the owner could have been better. We traveled in July and the weather was quite warm and specially hot and stifling at night, so having small table fans in the rooms might be a big help in getting good sleep.

I wouldn’t say any dislikes as such but if I could recommend any adjustments it would be to fix/tidy up a few bits. Some of the door handles are loose, cracked or broken. Kitchen overall is fine but it would benefit from a tidy up, the flooring in there etc. nothing that effects a great stay

We’ve enjoyed our stay ourselves.

We used self catering breakfast, like cereals, toast and cups of beverages - out all day - back in the evenings after meals at various restaurants. Enjoyed the evening relaxing having a cuppa. Only one disappointment is can’t watch the television during our stay due tv control problems and no pictures cos TV shows HM12 as we needs HM11 to watch with subtitles because we all 5 are Deaf but doesn’t matter. Also it’s unsuitable for people who have walking difficulties / breathing difficulties because 2 flights of stairs to get in the apartment and another 2 flights of stairs into 2 bedrooms, with only one toilet/bathroom.

Perfect mini break with great facilities in a prime location.

Very modern and homely with good quality textiles and fittings. Brilliant location Great information and all questions answered promptly.

Nothing Minor suggestions: Maybe an extra baking tray and a microwaveable dish would be useful. Six dining chairs in the living room so everyone can eat at the table.

Nice room and good location. Fantastic staff. Hygiene is a disappointment.

Reasonable price especially in the tourist hotspot, all 3 rooms are spacious enough for luggages, we love that they put tables and mirror with lights in the room.

Unfortunately, during check out we found a furry animal part with rotten smell under the cushion of the sofa which gave us all quite a shock esp. for the kids. We didnt know what it was and can you imagine the panic when we found a dark furry object under the cushion that we had spent 2 nights on…… After contacting the staff, he sent the cleaner for a check and found that it’s a dried animal ear used as dog food/toys. A relief at least it’s not some horrible things…. We didn’t bring any pets, the dog toy definitely not belong to us. We really appreciate the staff for the prompt reply and clear explanation, his service is amazing and to the point. However we had expected a higher hygiene level.

Not impressed, wouldn’t go back

The location was good There was a basket with some drinks and biscuits which was a nice touch, unfortunately the other issues outweighed the good.

There are 3 windows in the room, none of the blinds fit the windows, they only went 3/4 of the way down, there wasn’t any privacy. We had to buy bin bags to cover the windows. The noise from the road is very load if you are staying in a room on the front. I know this is out of the owners control but the windows don’t see to be sealed properly. We didn’t have a good nights sleep whilst there. There was hairs left in the bath and the bedding smelt. The cups was badly stained.
