Location and space

Didn’t like someone knocking on door at 9.55 to hurry us out for a 10am check out. When we were leaving at 10am to go down 4 flights of stairs with 10 bags and a dog on a lead we were further hassled by cleaners to leave and they even waited on the stairs making it more difficult to get the luggage and the dog down safely

Great location and amazing views over the town and lake.

Parking was a bit tricky, but hey it is the lake district!

Noisy, No free parking, 2nd floor, only one bathroom for 3 rooms where 2 rooms are on 3rd floor.., No washing machine facility, utensils provided is of OK standard…No shelf or place to keep clothes in 2 rooms

Reasonable price especially in the tourist hotspot, all 3 rooms are spacious enough for luggages, we love that they put tables and mirror with lights in the room.

Unfortunately, during check out we found a furry animal part with rotten smell under the cushion of the sofa which gave us all quite a shock esp. for the kids. We didnt know what it was and can you imagine the panic when we found a dark furry object under the cushion that we had spent 2 nights on…… After contacting the staff, he sent the cleaner for a check and found that it’s a dried animal ear used as dog food/toys. A relief at least it’s not some horrible things…. We didn’t bring any pets, the dog toy definitely not belong to us. We really appreciate the staff for the prompt reply and clear explanation, his service is amazing and to the point. However we had expected a higher hygiene level.
