Rockerfeller in Bowness

Clean, excellent location, great communication and value for money.

Up a few flights of stairs which we weren't aware of and my husband has just had a knee replacement but we should have checked as we knew it was an apartment.

Enjoyed location

Great location and cool theme based on the original use of the building as a bank. Great facilities.

Wasn’t as clean as it could be - we randomly found brussel sprouts in the bedside lamps (presumably put there by previous guests), hair bobbles with hair in in the bathrooms and other areas not 100% clean.

Brilliant apartment for a stay in the lakes. Would definitely recommend and return

Excellent location and lovely apartment. The decor is brilliant, really brings being in an old bank to life. The owners are really helpful and on hand if you had any questions. We are already looking to book another weekend to return.

Nothing, although maybe some blankets could be provided in the living room for the colder months to make it that extra cosy. But definitely nothing to complain about

Best 2 Bedroom Apartment in Bowness

Lovely place, great stay We've stayed here a number of times and it never disappoints. Cosy bedrooms, excellent showers, comfy lounge and fabulous location. Always spotlessly clean. Haven't had any issues with parking. Hosts welcoming and responsive. Also appreciated free use of local gym. Another great stay!

A fabulous stay in the heart of Bowness

The location was excellent Communication from the hosts was great, they always got back to us straight away. Apartment was lovely and great decor. It had everything you needed for your stay. Check in was easy and clear instructions.

The power went off a few times during our stay. A few things were broken or faulty, the blinds being one of them. The bathroom was very small. No storage, only a few hangers for clothes. We thought the price per night was high but it wouldn’t stop us from booking again.

I along with my family really enjoyed our time in the Apartment. It is located in the central.

It was easy yet confusing to navigate room from the main entrance as they had ambience was of Bank theme and most room was named differently than the room number. However, it is quite good in terms of safety perspective.

Excellent stay for a couple of nights, very unusual but thoroughly enjoyable.

Fab location if you're wanting to be right in the town, so plenty of restaurants and bars available without needing to take your car out. The apartment was really well equipped and very comfortable. It was delightfully quirky.

Given it's location, parking was a little tricky, but not really any problem.

Short stay

Location was perfect. The detail given on the apartment for all the equipment was very good, and the response of the landlord when we had an issue was also very good. Very quirky well presented.

Apartment was very dark, lighting could do with being a bit better, however for mood lighting it was very good the shower didn't work during our stay and the water pressure on all taps was really bad a trickle sometimes, which may have contributed to the shower not working. Could have done with a microwave in the kitchen. But don't let this stop you staying it was a very comfy apartment.

The perfect apartment if you’re after luxury and location

We loved absolutely everything about this apartment, can’t believe we haven’t found this place sooner! Extremely clean, such an amazing room size wise, very modern and just amazing. The story behind the “bank manager” room is brilliant. The host is fab too, very attentive and always at the end of the phone if needed. They gave us a welcome pack via WhatsApp and it explained everything perfectly. We will 110% be back!

The apartment was EXCEPTIONAL and the owners/agents were just brilliant - they were super praoctive. The beds were comfy, facilities excellent and the location was sublime. The themeing of the apartments also added a wonderful touch to our trip. We'll defo be back and staying in the same place again!

Gorgeous apartment in the perfect location

Absolutely loved the design and location - the bed was so comfy!

It would have been good if there was a microwave and also there were a few door handles that were loose so part of it kept falling off. We had a big pram with us so second floor flat wasn’t ideal but that’s more on us !

It’s not that I didn’t like it but the back bedroom had weird plug sockets and no way to put your makeup on , also the coffee table in the room is a waste of space and you could do with putting a nice comfortable chair or l shaped sofa in the room . Because 2 had a comfy seat and 2 didn’t . But honestly it was absolutely brilliant 😁

Place felt run down in places, door handles bits were falling off, cracks in bathroom tiles, blind didn't work in the bedroom, broken glass found in bedroom from previous occupants, same towels for duration of stay, thought might of had a coffee machine.. no microwave

Smart home features and interesting decor. Well equipped kitchen and lots of room plus separate bathrooms for each room.

The stairs were quite dark and it was a bit tight getting luggage to the apartment but nothing too bad.

Most enjoyable stay.

Beautiful apartment. There was no breakfast available; however, our apartment had a kitchen (no microwave) and we were able to buy ham eggs and rolls in the Co-op, almost opposite. The cleaning lady very kindly allowed us to use her parking space overnight. There were two very large flat screen TVs, one in the bedroom and one in the lounge.

At first, it was a little difficult to find the entrance - it was on the left up an alley at the right side of the property. There was a sign, but it was very small. The apartment's walls were all painted black (other apartments were not) and absorbed all light -it was very difficult to read the TV remote. Luckily I always carry a small torch! The car park opposite is weird! It's free after 6pm; however, You can only pay for four hours max after which they charge for 3 days!!! We arrived at 1 pm and needed 6 hours - not possible!

Perfect, quirky, super apartment

It’s really quirky we all love the front door and the apartment inside, the coolest place we’ve ever stayed. Inside has been furbished to a high standard. Great location, really lovely.

Nothing. We had already been told where to park. We did accidentally walk up bank terrace at 22:30pm with our noisy cases then asked inside the Indian, it was to the right of the Indian as your facing it! It was only because it was late or we would have found the entrance.

Very unique and fun

The accommodation was really beautiful and comfortable. Lots of amenities. Used the gym and pool that is partnered with the accommodation. Chris was very helpful with everything.

It is very important to save the information emailed prior to getting to the property as there is hardly any reception to download it on arrival. The check in progress was very stressful for me without this information saved. The parking is public paid parking and is stressful during busy periods
