It was an amazing experience but just one improvement that hot water should be always available specially in winter days

Nice family break for New Year

Location was brilliant, overlooks the main street and a 10 minute walk to the harbour side. Presentation of the property was lovely with 2 sizeable double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes in both.

A bit of damp coming from the bathroom ceiling but other than that it was clean.

We had an action packed new years stay in the apartment and loved coming back a home from environment.

The apartment is in an excellent location, the view from the lounge is great and we loved being right in the edge of the town. It’s bright, homely, inviting, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and more, and the added bonus of toiletries and dressing gowns was a nice surprise.

There were only a couple of negatives for us. The radiator in the bathroom didn’t work which made the bathroom cold compared to the other lovely warm rooms. And with there being a lovely deep bath we were hoping for a soak in a bubble bath but there was no bath plug.

Really nice looking and comfortable with a nice window view of the town.

Parking is a mess, First the owner said i did have parking and to specifically park in front of the green steps. Then seemingly the owner’s friend or something took our spot after we left for a short time and the owner tried back tracking saying there is no parking. Don’t say there’s parking if you’re going to change your mind.

Cozy, clean and spacious apartment with great location, close to restaurants and shops. The host is very kind and professional, easy and prompt communication. Thank you😄we had a lovely time in Windermere and the accommodation made it perfect.

The postcode took us 2 streets away from the actual location, but we managed to find it with the help of the host who sent us clear and thorough details to get there.

Perfect spot for exploring Bowness, Windermere and beyond.

Great location. Clean and tidy. Well equipped. Lovely staff who were great at communicating.

We couldn’t get two of the radiators working but luckily it wasn’t too chilly. Quite loud from the apartment upstairs but the host helped as much as possible.

All in all our stay was lovely, no problems with access or leaving, was clean and warm once we put heaters on .

Scaffolding outside window where workmen could look into property, this obviously is temporary. Curtains in main area would be better to go round windows instead of across as blocked out dining table from use, we had to pull table forward to use.

OK apartment up too many stairs

The apartment was central for everything.

The apartment did not match the picture we saw. It was up three flights of iron stairs on the outside of the building. There was no mention of this in the apartment description. It is not suitable for elderly people of people with medical conditions.

Strategic location and comfortable stay

- great location near the Lake and town centre 4-5 mins walk - space comfortable for 4 pax - public parking 2mins walk away

- the steel stairs: luckily we travelled light. Gets very slippery when wet - water heater keep making noise everytime in use but that was not a major thing to us - floor making noises as we walk around the flat. - would be nice to have a washing machine

Would not stay again, there were just a few too many small things that made it less enjoyable than it could have been

It was good location, we had fairly comfortable rooms

Having to pay for parking when it says it’s free. Only free if you’re there from 6pm to 8am is not free. The bath didn’t have a plug so was stuck with only the shower, only some of the windows opened. There was dish soap but no hand soap which is questionable to say the least.

Very spacious, well equipped, good location, and communication from the hosts from first booking!Everything needed for a last minute night in Bowness! Would definitely stay again.

No private parking, however we were able to park outside to unload when arriving, and re-load when leaving, without issue. Not sure that would always be the case though, with being surrounded by other businesses. We visited with a 2 year old and 3 month old so if we’d have had to park on the long stay car park down the road to offload from that would have been difficult.

If you drive the parking situation requires you to either pay quite a bit or constantly move your car. Hot water isn’t only periodically available so you have to plan around it.

Nice flat but there is a hot water issue

The apartment is at a convenient location and excellently furnished. There is also an inexpensive carpark two minutes away

The flat use a water tank boiler which doesn't have enough hot water for four people. Notes and notices are unclear and not updated - there is a note asking the guest to tap boost on the control panel but the control panel is not available unless you ask. The boiler timer is also wrongly set so the boiling time suggested by the host is incorrect. We contacted the host at about 8 for hot water but got no reply until around 11.

Excellent location, really spacious apartment, super clean, lovely decor, and an unexpected parking space - very good value for money too! Would definitely stay again/recommend.

If I was being super picky, the mattress was a bit softer than my personal preference but in absolutely no way impacted on our stay.

Great location and host, reasonably priced

We loved the style of the property, the furniture and decor had been well thought out. The kitchen was well equipped and there were towels and body wash provided. The host was very accessible via text and responded quickly to our queries and dealt with issues promptly. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Bowness on a busy road near a public car park which was £21 for 2 days.

The stairs leading to the property at the back were quite difficult for us having a baby and a pram as they were like fire escape metal stairs which seemed a bit dangerous in the rain but there is nothing the host could do about this. The radiator did not work in the passageway so it was quite cold when passing between the bedroom/bathroom/living space, wallpaper probably not the best for the bathroom as it had started to become damp in areas.

There was no central heating, just a number of heaters scattered around the property that weren’t great. (We went when it was freezing cold;snow) Strange mirror above the fireplace that you would have to be extremely tall to see in.

Large apartment Very nice inside. Lovely decor and amenities.Comfortable beds. Excellent location. Excellent communication and help from owner, resolved my issue with booking quickly and efficiently.

It was winter but the house was cold. Great location.

This was a great location. Very spacious. Kitchen well equipped.

It was cold. Living room had one heater. It could not keep up to warm room. No extra blankets. But there were robes. To watch tv it was cold. Heater in hall did not work. Bathroom was cold too. Shower head we are told was broken by previous guest. Shower head was removed for us. Accidentally put water to go out shower head and water shot across the room.
