limited parking nearby. the neighbours below complained (who also had an booking) came round and said us walking in the apartment they could hear in their apartment.

The water cuts off at 9am I had to rise my sons hair with the kettle it’s a bit early to get three people in and out of the shower by 9am

The unit itself was clean, comfortable, spacious, and filled with good natural light. The kitchen had all the required amenities, the beds were properly made, and there was always plenty of hot water. It’s a perfectly fine unit for the area, it's just a shame the management and check-in process were so poor. Would've been an easy 8-8.5 if the check-in process was handled better.

1. Make sure you have the access code before you arrive! There was no communication regarding unit access, and I never received check-in instructions. When we arrived, I knocked on the door of 2 Merewyke Court (the address provided), only to find a family already living there who were booked until the next day. My family and I were left standing outside in the rain for an hour trying to reach "Kay." When she finally called back an hour later, she didn't even bother to apologize. We eventually received the access code for unit number 3. 2. Be aware that there are stairs! This was another major inconvenience. Imagine hauling heavy suitcases up two flights of stairs without warning. 3. The mattress in the first bedroom is broken on one side, forcing me to sleep at an awkward angle for two nights. I had back pain for the entire stay because of it. 4. The Wi-Fi doesn't reach the first bedroom, and most cellular networks have poor coverage in this area, so be prepared for that. 5. The bathroom soap was a tiny, circular bar. While it's not the end of the world, it definitely leaves a cheap impression.
