Really nicely decorated. Very comfortable beds ( though pillows were too soft). Good facilities. Located really well for Bowness and Windermere
Obnoxious neighbour who told us to go home because we had a 4 year old who ran around on wooden floor and he didn’t take kindly to occasional noise. He had no sense of the fact that children are occasionally noisy even if well behaved. Ironic given that he is expecting a baby next year. I got the impression that the neighbours don’t like out of town visitors.

Lovely accommodation, very clean and the beds were very comfy. Kitchen had everything you needed and it is only a 10 minute walk maximum to the centre of bowness.
Don’t be fooled by the information you get sent. You only have ONE car parking space which seems ridiculous when there’s 3 large beds. You also can’t park in the “guest parking” as we found out when we turned up and had 3 neighbours swarm us and shout at us. They also took pictures of our cars when we were parked outside for 10 minutes trying to load up to check out. Left a bitter taste being spoken to like that when we were just doing as the instructions said and ruined the beginning of what ended up being a lovely trip.

the property was very clean and recently refurbished to a high standard. It’s also well located, a few minutes’ walk from the pier and restaurants and bars. Also close to Windermere itself; Orrest Head only a few minutes’ drive away. the neighbourhood was quiet and felt safe. The bed, sofa and dining sets were comfortable.
1. the bathrooms could have done with some hooks for towels and clothes.
2. There was no hand soap provided. This seems like a basic necessity even for self-catering properties.
3. speaking of basic necessities: while I appreciated that they provided one toilet roll per bathroom/toilet, making a total of 3, that was barely/just enough for four adults and a toddler over 3 nights. It was odd to provide toilet rolls but without any spares in the house.
4. The management team was appalling. I called on Monday morning requesting for toilet paper. the person who answered said they would check with the local team and call me if it wasn’t possible to do so. I never received a call back and there were no extra rolls when we got back to the house in the evening.
