We stayed in the hotel but left after 2 hours

Friendly staff and nice bathroom

That the people from across the hall could hear us talk. The heater didn’t work which sucked because the windows were open and they werent properly isolated. We could hear the people from outside talking. On the website the room looked bigger then it actually was.

Very very basic hotel with a not so basic price.

Location was rather convenient, close to Cadzand and a free public parking nearby. Staff was friendly.

We paid for a deluxe double room with city view but got a twin room (separate beds) with view on the airco installation and I am also not sure which part of it was 'deluxe'. It was a very small basic room which clearly had had its' best time. Same is valid for the bathroom. The breakfast was very poor, not sure if you can even call this a 'buffet'. We didn't use the Wifi as there was no explanation on how to use it (nor in the room nor at the reception).

Well located, welcoming by a smiling (interim) person, large dining/breakfast room, clean bedding

Shower not clean, trash filled, thin and worn towels, a unknown man came knocking at 9pm asking for access to the bathroom (??), noise of workers in the hotel at 7:20 am on a Saturday morning, nobody at check out, good quantity but poor breakfast choice.

Breakfast, bedroom not cleaned, very small bedroom, much smaller than on website advertised, No phone in room, hairdryer missing. . No staff at reception, no staff to ask questions

Nice location, child friendly but unclean, uncomfortable and rude cleaning staff who invaded our privacy.

The location was good and the manager was very accommodating of the kids. The waitress was very friendly during dinner

It was not as clean as I would have liked. Very dirty baby bed which was not set up even though it was booked earlier. The beds where extremely hard and uncomfortable. Also the staff came into our room uninvited before check out time to remind us of the check out time twice. It was a terrible invasion of privacy.

Bathroom was nice

Glass door into the bathroom, if you need to go for the toilet in the night you iluminate whole room, but I gues it's individual, for me and my girlfriend it was point down, King-size bed had two matrases so we were creating gap in the middle over night. It suppose to be luxurious room but I gues the only luxurious thing was the glass door into the bathroom.

the bathtub was incorrectly connected to the sewer and therefore a very bad smell was caused when using the bad. I think it leaks when using the overflow. Also the staff was not every interested with the exception of 2 persons. When we checked in, we met this very friendly person, and when we had dinner, the woman with the short hair was also very friendly. But when we checked out, only we got a “thank you” from this bloke who wasn’t interested at all. I even got him playing a game on his phone earlier during the breakfast buffet while almost all the bread, eggs and strawberry jam was gone. he was also not wearing any “branded” cloths, so I didn’t recognise him as staff. The cost of the stay didn’t reflect the value. The meals were average, the quality of the drinks was average and the hospitality was average.

No toiletries, only a low quality hand soap. They charge 17,5euros for a dog for one night, what in a room of 40euros is too high. At least they could provide that information in advance. For two people the bed wasn't comfortable because constantly one of us constantly fell in the middle gap.

Nice staff and reasonably good breakfast. Restaurant is good and service is friendly. Nothing special but also nothing wrong about it.

Although the hotel looks renovated they missed to fix the way too steep stairs. With larger suitcases this is a hurdle to overcome.

Uncomfortable, the price and value ratio is bad

The location is good.

Twin de lux room is a joke, as to step in is possible only one by one. No space for even one small luggage. The bed is very narrow not comfortable to sleep on. It is not a real twin room as no possibility to separate the beds. Due to these things the price is not reasonable.

Schandalig.

Bij aankomst in het hotel was alsof we in een gaarkeuken terecht waren gekomen. Met stomende niet echt lekker ruikende etensbakkken, als een lopend buffet. De eerste kamer, wat klein en benauwd en wat waren de bedden vies met haren van de vorige gasten. Het lippenstift op de kussens en een gewoon vieze kamer. Kan gebeuren dachten we totdat we kamer twee aangewezen kregen. Langs de balie, een achteraf kamer… nog erger dan de eerste. Geld terug, ja graag. Maar na een gesprek met waarschijnlijk haar leidinggevende was dit niet meer mogelijk. We moesten maar een mailtje sturen. Ik kom elke week in hotels, maar zoals dit heb ik nog nooit meegemaakt. Ja de foto’s zijn mooi maar daar is ook alles mee gezegd. 1 groot drama welke ik ook nog ga melden op de site. Booking.com schandalig dat dit hotel via jullie geboekt kan worden. Beschermen van klanten mag echt een stuk beter. Advies om de klanten te sturen naar hotel De Eenhoorn. Wat een feestje was dat. Schande. Met vriendelijke groeten, Jeroen Bustin
