Great atmosphere and good breakfast.

Finding parking is difficult.

Location was superb and the staff were all excellent room was very comfy and the breakfast cooked fresh and was really good

The beds were very comfortable and the shower was lovely; the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel smelled really good. The breakfast was delicious and very fresh. The hotel location was amazing.

The stairs to the mezzanine bed were very steep so it wouldn't be suitable for an older person.

The hotel is in a lovely old building. Rooms were clean and quiet. Nice towels and linens. Breakfast was delicious and lots to eat.

We were in a two floor room which we found awkward. The junior deluxe room is not easy to be in.

Nice location. Good facilities and wonderful staff.

The lift is awkward to get to. If you’re traveling with someone who has trouble getting around maybe choose somewhere else.

Bed to be changed, too old/used. No soap in shower nor lavabo, short of storage, towels to be replaced too.

The location for Middleberg is great and to explore any of the Zeeland islands. I cannot comment on inside the main hotel as after booking with a dog when we arrived we were told the dog could not enter Apartment room is spacious with balcony area, good facilities with kitchenette and small bathroom

This hotel was booked as a dog friendly hotel and unfortunately it is not. It is a dog friendly room only and we were only informed about this on arrival to be informed the dog cannot come into the hotel and we could not have breakfast and that they could not serve it anywhere else. We were told this was because they had a customer complaint about a dog in the hotel. We had booked for 2 nights but decided because of this the hotel was not dog friendly and we would need to find another room for our second night. When we spoke to the owner the next morning there was no compassion or consideration that we had booked a dog friendly hotel that was not being delivered, in fact we had a dog friendly room. We were told the information about the customer complaint was not correct and that they have never allowed dogs into breakfast. While I appreciate that many hotels state this and we do not mind, they usually offer an alternative location, and we had booked another hotel because we were told by her staff that the reason was because a customer was complaining and that we could not have breakfast at all. There was no responsibility taken for her team, no apology and no negotiation on cancelling the room which we were charged for The apartment room itself was very spacious with good facilities, but was not clean. Stairs to get to rooms are very steep - not this if you have an older dog or small children and lots of luggage Balcony area not secure for dogs as open wall that could be jumped up with a significant drop over from 1st floor to ground. We stayed in orange apartment so dog cannot be off the lead outside unless they are small and cannot jump that high

it had an Excellent location . A variety of rooms of different designs and layouts offered by the hotel . Attractive dining room , and generous breakfast . However ,Difficult stairs to negotiate even to the first floor, plus virtually inaccessible for anyone with mobility issues. The elevator is accessible only by exiting the hotel and walking down a slope outside the property to re enter only at the far corner of the property . Uncomfortable bed and even poor quality pillows.

I had asked for a room on the first floor with a barel vaulted ceiling [ one flight of stairs or elevator access ]. I use a cain and have mobility issues. I was given a second floor room , accessible by two flights of winding circular stairs, or by a service elevator to the first floor , at the rear and very far corner of the property [ a long distance from the lobby, down an outside walkway along the hotel to the garden level, and then again the width of the hotel to then get back in the building . Then once in the elevator , a long walk along a hallway to get to the second flight of stairs. back to the front middle of the building . Very arduous to get to my room. Secondly my bed was terribly uncomfortable ! Sagging badly on the right side, I felt like I would roll out of bed. The pillows were also way over sized and uncomfortable. Very Dissapointing.
