Lovely Huge Mansion, within walking distance to the Centre of Middleburg.

Our room was lovely and we especially liked the bathroom with the large tub. Breakfast was nicely appointed and offered a lot of variety. We especially enjoyed the homegrown fruit from their garden.

We had a little issue with the shower, however, this was fixed right away.

Very nice hotel with good location and kind staff

We liked the location of the hotel surrounded by nature, not far from the historical center, just 5 minutes to walk, the spacious room with an exit through the French window to the terrace and to the garden with a swing on a tree, coffee, tea bar and caramels in the room replenished every day, very good breakfast with delicious cheeses, nice historical decorations in the hotel and very kind and helpful hotel staff.

There was nothing we didn´t like.

Breakfast at an appointed time, but excellent in what is has to offer

I was on the top floor in a room with very small high window, so the view was limited. And the bathroom had a small glass sputter door, so that water came everywhere

The locational breakfast were excellent

The room was very mediocre for the price. It was very average, extremely hot and badly ventilated. It was on the ground floor with only a door that would have left the opportunity for people, insects etc to enter at night.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly helpful staff and very good breakfast with a varied choice of food to suit everyone. Access to a lounge with an honesty bar available for clients to serve themselves with a wide variety of drinks and pay on check-out. Amazing trust.

Old style hotel within easy walking distance of City centre

Old hotel building is charming within easy walking (10 minutes) of main city square. Very calm an peaceful next to canal. Friendly and helpful staff. Relaxed atmosphere. We had a nice room in new wing. Huge modern bathroom and small terrace with table and chairs in garden. Air conditioning worked very well which was great in the middle of a heatwave!

No real facilities as such but not a big drawback. However nice lounge with self-service bar.

We loved the view from our room!

Our room overlooked a park where sheep grazed on grass around a pond. We sat on the balcony every evening. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was modern. The breakfast was delicious and seating was on a sun porch.

We rented bicycles from the hotel but they are simple 3-speed bikes with back pedal brakes. I am accustomed to hand brakes and therefore could not stop in time to avoid an accident. I recommend going to a bike shop in the town.
