Relaxing stay in the historic town of Middelburg

Nice B&B, well located to explore Middelburg and its surroundings. The staff was very welcoming and breakfast was superb!

Lovely find in Holland

Lovely attention to detail from the room to breakfast. Breakfast was substantial, continental, well presented & enjoyed overlooking the garden. Room was well presented, clean, tidy & had everything we needed, comfy beds, good lighting, kettle, coffee machine, eating & seating area. Hot running water for the shower, hairdryer, plenty of sockets & mirrors for personal grooming. Toilet just outside the room. Fridge outside the room for guests to purchase wine & beer for a small charge. Free local car park, 15 minute walk away, all shops & restaurants 10 minute walk. Lovely small town not far to visit other places within an hours drive.

This is just my personal preference but I would of liked softer towels. This said it wouldn't stop me from returning again

A very friendly welcome. Spacious room in interesting historic canal-side townhouse, filled with eclectic collection of "home-made" objets d'art. Room with seating area and view of the small courtyard garden. Garden available for use by guests. Hand-washing basin in the room, so is the shower cubicle, behind the wardrobe: a quirky set-up but functional arrangement in a historic house. WC is along the corridor, down the access to the room steps. Comfortable beds - a good sleep and a superb breakfast tray brought into the room incl. fresh juice and excellent makings.

- Not over-keen on the "in-room shower" arrangement: an open perspex cubicle in front of the window. - inside the WC is also the open-flame gas-heater for the hot water in the adjacent room: walking into the WC gave each one of us an instant headache due to the gas burner exhaust fumes; more adequate ventilation would be useful - Breakfast timing rather late: served 9 - 10 a.m. - Do-it-yourself coffee i.e. from capsules machine with mini cup is not ideal at breakfast time. - Street Parking in the vicinity of the B&B gets expensive quickly from 8 am - 8pm (although there is a free parking option at a fair walking distance away)

Beautiful B&B in stunning Middelburg

Elegant art inspired B&B in an historic property - it was a treat to see what is behind the row houses on the beautiful streets of Middelburg…The owners have put a lot into the presentation of their property, it looks amazing; very clean & comfortable. There was a tremendous breakfast served in the garden courtyard (best bread & pastries ever- yum!) The location is perfect- set on one of the main canals which made it a pleasure to sit and watch the world pass by. We had a safe place to store our bikes and there were lots of great restaurants to choose from. Middelburg is one of our favourite cities in the Netherlands- well worth a visit:)

Romantic stay in beautiful Middelburg

Beautiful B&B in beautiful Middelburg! Authentic building with a cute garden. The host was super kind. We had breakfast in the room due to corona, but that just made it more romantic :-)

For me, the pillow was no good. No other remarks whatsoever!

Fijn verblijf

De locatie van de accommodatie was top, je liep zo het centrum in. Ook was het ruim, je kon er makkelijk je spullen kwijt. De badkamer was schoon en de douche was heerlijk. Het bed was lekker zacht. 's Ochtends kregen we op de afgesproken tijd ons ontbijt, dat erg royaal was. Ik was samen met mijn zus en het tweepersoonsbed was breed genoeg om comfortabel in te slapen.

Prachtige locatie aan het water, direct nabij de winkels. Prettige ontvangst, goed verzorgde en schone kamers en heerlijk ontbijt. Aanrader.

Als ik iets zou moeten noemen dan is het de gehorigheid van het gebouw, maar dat hoort bij zo'n oud gebouw.

Prachtig monumentaal huis, zeer sfeervol. Orgineel ingerichte kamers met veel kunst van de eigenaresse. Lekker bed en goed ontbijt. Locatie was prima, in binnenstad en aan gracht. Maar toch heel rustig.

De accommodatie is prachtig, de bedden heerlijk, het ontbijt verrukkelijk en de vriendelijkheid van de eigenaar top. We hebben echt genoten.

Het enige minpunt was de gehorigheid van de straat die de kamer binnendrong. Wij verbleven in de voorste kamer.

Knusse kamer in het centrum van Middelburg.

Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt en daarnaast hele goede bedden.

Gordijnen waren niet verduisterend en de geluiden van buiten waren goed te horen. Niet hinderlijk, maar wel duidelijk aanwezig.

Séjour réussi dans un cadre magnifique.

Très bon accueil, le logement se situe à deux pas du centre-ville. La chambre est bien équipée et bien agencée. La décoration est superbe et de bon goût. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié.
