Everything was amazing. Great riverside location, secure bike storage n garden protected by spikes. Room large and clean, beds comfy. Breakfast at adjacent hotel great. Owner really nice guy, very accommodating about arrival times. Good value, will stay here again next time.

Nothing. Like many Dutch hotels the stairs are steep! If you have mobility issues just ask for a ground floor room. No problems for us though.

Great location, comfy bed, and the hospitality! The owner went above and beyond to make sure I get all that i needed during my stay. Plus point for me is that the hotel has a great fan, perfect for hot summer night. Totally recommend if you ever visit Middelburg!

Exceptional

The room was perfect. Clean tidy and very comfortable with nice views. The host and owner, Gerard, was very easy to communicate with and went beyond what you would expect to make sure I had everything i needed and that I enjoyed my stay. The location is great, close to the train station and an easy walk into the town center. I will be staying here again on my next visit.

Upon arrival we checked in and were greeted by Gérard who was very very helpful and gave us good tips on parking, where to eat, guided tours etc. The room was perfect.

Very centrally situated nice hotel with a very friendly owner

Le Beau Rivage is a very nice small hotel, just in front of the railway station of Middelburg, you just need to cross over the water. It is a very quiet area, very close to the city center, less than 5 minutes walking. Our host is a very kind and friendly person, he was not only checking us in rather late in the evening (there is an easy system of contactless check-in), but the next morning he allowed us to take place at the garden for the breakfast (we didn't choose for the buffet breakfast, and had everything with us as we are eating gluten and lactose-free), and even offered us a cup of tea. Our stay at Le Beau Rivage was a great important part of our short vacation in Middelburg!
