Great location

The hotel is on a walking distance of the train station as well as the city center. In front of the hotel is paid parking available and you can find restaurants and cafe's nearby. Location wise, recommended!

The elevator is quite old and is slow & small. We had to bring a stroller inside the hotel and it was a tight fit in the elevator. Going with the stairs will cost you the same time as using the elevator.

Great location, easy access when with car, very good breakfast.

Very close to the city center, plenty of parking. Nice and spacious rooms, good beds. Few minor things lacking, as hotel is already a little older. However, breakfast was very, very good with a lot of choices. We stayed with a bigger group of collegues and everybody said that would stay there again, when in Middelburg.

Terrible experience

My stay was still a day away and when I got to my room I couldn't get in because there were new guests staying, my things had been put into my suitcase anyway and were at reception.

Pleasant

I pay for one big room with balcon and one mattress for two people, and want to give me a room without balcon and with two mattress how much my I was with my man. After I go and I said to change my room and give for the same money the small room what in booking it's was more cheap, but no problem, i know to don't come back!

The elevator out of order since a while. And they put me on floor 4. Ordered Breakfast in the Room. No go as the elevator is not working. All and all.not ver positif. Tim

Exhausting

The lift was down for quite some time and we had to carry our toddlers a very steep flight of stairs up and down. An old staircase can have its charm, but it is outright dangerous to handle a toddler. The next issue was the breakfast. It was not fresh.

The staff was nice and the room was fairly clean and the breakfast was ok

The elevator was broken and our room was in the fourth floor. It was really annoying to go up the stairs in the old building. Room was too small and no air conditioning in the “4 star hotel”. It was just too hot in summer.

The rooms was really small. Not even enough room to stand between the bed and the wall. On neither side. Ridiculous expensive for the broom closet you get.

Good stay, a little bit too expensive for what it's worth

Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Personel was very attentive and nice to us (big shoutout to them!). Very well located and easily accessible in car by parking it at the students' dorms right across the river.

Breakfast was pretty poor in what was offered, bacon was the crispiest I've ever tasted (not good), quallity of food at breakfast not as high as I would've expected for the price as well of course.....

Luckily we went out all day, if not it would have been a disaster.

The room 101 was mini, mini, mini, Not as showen on images. No airco, it was very hot insiders. No refrigerator. Housekeeping was a bit poor.

Breakfast service was understaff and therefore at certain moments they could not follow the flow. Evening service on the terrace was very absent, we had to wait wait and wait, while nobody showed up. Sole people left the terrace because service was to slow.
