Available when many other places were already booked.

Nicely renovated room with Nespresso coffee maker and walk-in shower. Unfortunately, a bad sewage smell in the room (#403) that we could not make go away.

The hotel has a Pet Policy, which includes a maximum number of dogs per room and surcharge fees for small dogs and large dogs. I asked the hotel to add those details to the booking information on booking.com, like other hotels. This is helpful when comparing and selecting a hotel. It also helps avoid unpleasant surprises and discussions with the receptionist upon check-in. Other than that, a paid Spa offering that doubles the cost of the stay seems unreasonable to me.

Nice place and friendly staff - good location

Check-in was easy and staff very helpful. Room was a good size and clean. Enjoyed the breakfast the following day. Location made it easy to walk around and explore while deciding when and where to have dinner.

I had to leave this 150 euro room at 4.00 a.m. due to perpetual wakings at night caused by various noises. For this price the room could be a bit insulated. Reception was not available at night, only in case of emmergency. Even though I didn't mind the wholes in the wall and in the bathroom door, I just wanted to get some rest, which was a dissapointement.

Great location, friendly staff and useful bicycle storage. Bed was very comfy and breakfast Buffett was good.

Well located, pleasant staff, hugely comfortable bed, clean, good breakfast and easy parking.

My room (217) was bit of a faff to get to with a heavy bag. Take the lift to the second floor, up a step, down a corridor then bizarrely down two flights of stairs to get to the room and then of course having to lug bags up two flights of stairs to get back to the lift when checking out. Tiny shower room.

Perfect location

The location is perfect in front of the train station, which is perfect for business travel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The single room is a bit tiny but pretty clean and comfy.

Quiet, friendly, comfortable and well-located

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean and it's in a very good and quiet location. It's certainly a hotel I would return to if I was back in Middelburg.

Very little, aside from being unable to prevent water in the shower splashing across the rest of the bathroom floor (hardly a major issue). It would have been nice to be able to make a cup of tea/coffee in the room, but this is not as common in Holland as in other countries.

Only thing I like was staff. They were super flexible and helpful.

The bed and head part was dirty, unfortunately I needed to leave after check in so when I arrived there was noone that I can say. It is a pity because the location very good.
