The staff were friendly, the breakfast was good and we had a nice view of the canal from our room. It wasn’t the biggest room (there was only space for one bedside table) but the beds were comfortable and it was quiet. There was good safe storage for our bikes.

Location is perfect 3min walk from the train station and 5min from the centre. Breakfast and facilities in the room could be better but in general very satisfied in terms of cleanliness, quiet and located in a safe area. Heating in the room is fine but no AC in rooms which might be an issue in summer.

The Fletcher hotel is very accessible from the train station and this was great for us as we arrived late evening. Staff were very friendly and helpful but the restaurant was rather limited so we ate out, other than the first evening. Rooms are clean but on the small side and there can be noise from the street area. The hotel is in a good location for seeing around Middelburg.

Very old hotel. Very small room as basic as it can get. A bed, a chair and a small deck with a very basic shower. Uneven floor making the bed lean to the side.

I use to stay in the Fletcher Hotel as it is very convenient. Hotel is placed ideally few minutes away from the train station and the city center of Middelburg. Hotel has a nice bar and restaurant and the whole team is very nice and helpful. The WIFI is also good and free. Rooms are comfortable however some of them are really small and some of the mattresses would really need to be changed. There is no Air conditioning so it is very hot during summer and you can't really leave windows open because of the noise street and the bridge just in front of the hotel. Bridge open sometimes very early and the the horn is very loud... Apart that this is a very nice place to stay.

Rooms were spacious and comfortable, only gripe was the shower didn’t have a means of restraining the water from going all over the bathroom floor. But I can overlook that. Lovely hotel with great views across Middelburg. Great welcome when arrived as they remembered me from a previous stay. Rooms are clean and fresh with comfortable beds and great rain showers. The rooms can get very warm and there is no air conditioning but they have large opening windows. Highly recommended.

Excellent setting on edge of town centre with parking close by 2 Euro’s per hour from 8.00-20.00 and free overnight. Easy to find.
