Good and quiet location, just five minutes walk to the centre of beautiful town. Breakfast menu was simple but sufficient, bread was warm, coffee was excellent. We parked a car at public parking just in front of the hotel. As it was free on Sunday, not so expensive.

We checked in on a very cold day, but the heating in the room had been turned off, so it took some hours to warm up. The room was sufficiently spacious, but the beds were narrow.

Exceptional homelike stay

Bart and the whole team made our stay exceptional as we were settling into Middelburg for our daughter. The room was large and comfortable.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Perfectly located between train station and the beautiful old city centre all within walking distance. Rooms, and dining room were bright, inviting, clean and had everything one needs for a memorable stay. Staff was friendly, helpful and competent. Breakfast was included and was delicious. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back to this hotel in the future.

Perhaps the ventilation in the bathroom was a bit challenging but I realize that we are dealing with an old building and not everything can be helped.

It could have been a bit cleaner (floor, some towels and 1 knife) - but nothing to worry or complain about (but also not a 10 because of this). We notice because the kids run and roll around the floor...

Excellent hotel by the river with lovely staff.

Both staff members we interacted with were very helpful and pleasant. Location was very good. Breakfast was excellent and the room spacious. Excellent shower and comfortable bed.

It would have been good to have air conditioning as the room was quite warm at night.

A beautiful place at a quite location but still close to the center of the city, train station, etc. Spacious room with a terrace. Good breakfast with quality coffee. Friendly staff.

Very convenient location

Cute interior design for easter, very nice shower and a big terrace. Close to train station, close to city centre and close to all historical locations.

It was a bit loud with people upstairs but not the property problem, it was the people upstairs. They stopped at 2300 :)

Clean, friendly staff, comfortable

It was super clean and really nice, motivated and positive staff. Bart at reception have his time to us to explain the best route into town. Ladies at breakfast and housekeeping were wonderful. If you like to stay a bit off from the whole tourist scene this is a very good location. Nice with the open bar downstairs. The trust adds to the comfort. We would check in here again.

Getting into details now, but fluffier towels and since you have sucha wonderful comfy double bed (room 2), just get get a 2 persons duvet so we can enjoy it even more :)

Great hotel in centre of Middelburg

Very friendly and helpful staff. Locked bicycle parking with electricity outlets for charging available free of charge. Hotel is ideal for cyclists. Nice breakfast.

No airco, so higher room temperatures in summer. But fan is provided.

Windows do not open. 3rd week of June room was very hot and limited ventilation, with only a door to balcony common to other rooms and all windows fixed shut. Balcony tiles loose.

Very friendly staff. Great secure cycle parking, with charging points for ebike. Good shower. Cool dining room and very nice breakfast.

Air conditioning would have been nice, as we visited in a heatwave but there was at least a fan provided.

Perfect stopover.

The hotel was really nice and well-kept throughout. They communicated well at all times and check-in was easy (remote) and seamless. Our room was a good size and well-appointed. The shower was lovely. We also had a view over the canal which was nice. Breakfast was solid and expected continental standards. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The value was excellent compared to the very tatty Campanile I stayed at the night before. The location was decent too, not right in the middle of the town but perfectly walkable.

Not a lot but some minor feedback. The way our room was laid out, once you'd used the wc you had to exit, walk past the bed and round the back to use the sink. The toilet was a good size so a little odd that there isn't a small sink in it. We were told there was secure bike storage but on arrival it was a room outside accessed with a room key. Inside there were no facilities to lock a bike to anything. I understand the room is only accessible by key but you're then reliant on others not losing their key or not shutting the door properly.

The best choice

We liked everything: - The perfect location near the train station and the city centre - The perfect accommodation for all 3 of us - The room was very comfortable, full of space, comfortable beds and pillows, very clean and cosy. Many light inside (big windows with a partial view of the sea) and a beautiful green balcony outside - The breakfast was very tasty and the oringe juice was great ;-) - Easy check in and check out - The stuff was very smiled and welcoming. Thank you hotel Loskade, we will choose you again for our accommodation next time with pleasure.
