Great stay in the heart of Middelburg for a fair price

Great location, in the centre of Middelburg. The room was a bit small, but we had everything we needed for a great stay. Even a nespresso machine available for use downstairs. The communication with the host was very efficient and quick. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent place to stay.

The staff was very friendly, I needed to do an earlier check in and they helped me. The access to the hotel and rooms was easy. The room itself (room 1) was very comfortable and the fridge and microwave were really useful.

A stylish quirky hotel in the middle of the city

A stylish quirky hotel in the middle of the city. Room 4 was on the second floor loved the 70s design, the disco balls on the ceiling were a perfect touch and the room itself was clean and organized. It was very easy to access, everything by phone check in/check out entering both room and hotel.

This was my second stay at hotel Bruno and i really enjoyed it! The room was exceptionally clean, the bed super comfortable. Many people in the reviews complain about the noise, but I actually had 4 peaceful nights of sleep there! I really like this place, will definitely come back.

The water in the shower takes a while to become warm, but that's really not a problem.

A solid choice for a stay in Middelburg

The location and checking in and out are awesome. Little perks like food packages from the vending machine and discount cards at a local bakery are also nice.

The ventilation didn't work in our room (number 3). After the shower was used, all the surfaces in the entire room, including the window, were covered in condensation, so we had to keep the window slightly open.

Beautiful, comfortable and cozy stay at hotel Bruno!

Loved the room- super cute and quirky with all you could need, coffee pods for the machine were a lovely touch. The fridge was also handy! Loved my stay and would return. Neighbourhood was beautiful and it is a lovely place for a quiet break away from the city. Lots to do, see and eat!

Fashionable accommodation in a wonderful old city.

Hotel Bruno is a really fashionable hotel where a lot of thought has gone into the design feel and branding. The style is very contemporary, but with a very human aspect. The location, in the heart of this beautiful old city, is superb.

Whilst we received lots of communication from the proprietors beforehand, our British telephones were not able to access the key technology which the hotel uses. However, after a quick phonecall, Bob met us at the property and brought us some key cards which did the trick.

Very cosy and appealing.

Excellent place. Highly recommended. No reception/personel involved. Just open the front door and room door with (the supplied key on) your phone. Beds are awesome. We stayed in room #1, which is at ground level. Looking over a small terrace from the pub next door. Very cosy and appealing. Remember that tourist tax (less than 3€/person/night) is not included in the booking price.

I had a tight schedule, so the easiness of not checking in and opening the doors online was very convenient. The room was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and the douche was really nice. I had to be there earlier than the minimum incheck time, but they made sure for me that the room was ready in time.

Nice little hotel in the middle of Middelburg. I stayed one night but would have loved to stay more! Room was cozy and confortable. Bed was amazing! Slept really well. The room had lots of light and a desk to work on, which was perfect in my case.

It gets a bit noisy. Isolation is weak (old Dutch house) so every time a car drives in the streets it's like there are no walls. Luckily, the street is not too busy at night. Had a nice night of sleep anyway :) Also the coffee machine is not located in the room but in the "common area" upstairs. I would have preferred it to be in my room in the morning, but that's a very minor comment. Overall, the place is fantastic.
