Peace very near the old city centre

Beautifully renovated room with peace and yet it is a walking distance to town centre. Kids loved the 3-stories bunk bed. There was a big enough table for 5 of us and also cutlery + microwave, and coffee and tea facilities.

A small piece of glass on the floor hurt my child’s foot but I’m sure this isn’t a regular thing!

Fantastic old building!

The old converted building - beautiful

It’s not clear on booking.com that the family live there too. Also parking outside is not guaranteed, and when we arrived the owners didn’t really come & welcome us so we thought they were on holiday too staying in the other room! These arent reasons for us not to stay there again though

nice cozy experience

nice accomondation with some personal touch. The book in the room explained a bit more background story of the accomodation and the owner's effort, which makes the expereince even more unique. Rooms were well arranged showing their persistance in even tiny details. Good location to the city center. Quite in the evening. Cute neighborhood. Parking area available which is very convenient

the ally to the accomodation is quite narrow, luckly our car is quite small. Bathroom-mat wasn't available while there is no leveling difference in floorings, plus, the shower unit is just next to the bathroom, we were very afraid in getting water outside the bathroom.

An amazing building a converted church with garden.The room is spacious with comfortable bed, Flatscreen digital TV with variety of entertainment services. There is a fridge stocked with a variety of complementary items. There is outside space a small patio and chairs overlooking the garden. The location is in a quiet street just outside the town centre which is a short walk away. Parking is available at the property. The hosts were friendly a welcoming. I will definitely plan to stay here again when I next visit

the room was large, the location good (<10 minutes walk to the town & restaurants), the owner's were super friendly & helpful, free parking space in the lane. proper size supermarket nearby.

The accomodation is perfect for a family with three children (even teenagers). The welcome is warm and the place beautiful. There is a small fridge and a terrace with a large table. You can also park your car. To sum up, a great accomodation when you want to visit Zeland.

A lovely, quiet location, close to the centre of the old part of Middelburg. Our room was spacious, clean and comfy. The breakfast that we took in our room was generous and tasty. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. They are obviously proud of the conversion of the old church, and rightly so!

Somewhere different! Enjoyed relaxed atmosphere in unique setting.

A pleasant stay in a striking recently restored church - quirky place with attractive design features and room opening on to family garden. A good welcome from the hosts. Comfortable bed. Quiet area of town but near shops and town centre facilities.

Some features where attractive design overrides practicality - e.g only a bathroom sink to wash dishes etc, with fixed water pipe over centre of basin.

I loved sleeping in a converted church and appreciated the photo album showing how the restoration was done. The room was beautiful!

The duvets were too hot for us, especially since the heating was on in the room. It would have been great to have an alternative like a lighter duvet or blanket.

Super sfeervolle b&b!

Wij vonden de sfeer in de kamer erg gezellig. Ook het stapelbed vonden onze kinderen ge-wel-dig! En de regendouche was heerlijk.

Het mocht iets schoner zijn. Op ieder randje lag een laagje stof.

Bijzonder en heel fijn.

Prachtige plek. Fijne kamer, van alle gemakken voorzien. Fijn ook dat er een koelkastje is. Dicht bij het centrum en parkeren voor de deur. Fijn en makkelijk contact. Ik heb genoten.

Ondanks de vloerverwarming toch een koude vloer. De kamer is bij te verwarmen met de airco.

Douche was niet erg praktisch. Was gelijk nadat je deur open deed. Hierdoor gehele badkamer nat na douchen. Er zijn koffiekopjes maar geen theekopjes. Kussens van traag schuim wat erg hard aanvoelt.

Alles, zoals het staat beschreven zo heb ik het ook in de werkelijkheid ervaren. Fijn dat er een boek ter inzage ligt hoe alles is ontstaan tot de mooie verbouwing heden waar wij als gasten van mogen meegenieten.

Parkeergelegenheid is erg krap. Er zijn 3 plaatsen maar staat er een busje geparkeerd dan is er maar een mogelijk voor 2 auto's om te parkeren. Parkeren in de directie omgeving is ook heel weinig.

Kom naar de Kerck

We werden zeer gastvrij ontvangen en hebben genoten van de rust. Heel fijn dat de kamer is uitgerust met o.a. wijnglazen, ontbijtbordjes, een magnetron, eierkoker en koelkast. Daarnaast was het ook fijn dat er voldoende koffie en thee op de kamer aanwezig was.

Fantastische locatie!

Prachtige, unieke locatie in de oude kerk. De kamer was mooi ingericht en kraaknet. De kerk ligt net buiten het centrum waardoor het erg rustig is. Op een tiental minuten stappen ben je in het historische stadscentrum. Met de auto ben je op een kwartiertje op het strand. We maakten 's avonds gebruik van de hot tub wat fantastisch was. Bij aankomst hangt de sleutel klaar, je krijgt alle privacy.

Fantastisch! Echt een aanrader!

Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Ik was op zoek naar een leuke accommodatie met ontbijt, maar alles om zelf je ontbijt te kunnen verzorgen was aanwezig, van servies tot koelkast, van waterkoker tot koffiezetapparaat, zelfs een magnetron was aanwezig. Daarnaast sliep het bed heerlijk en wilde we eigenlijk niet meer weg omdat het bed bij de Kerck beter sliep dan ons eigen bed. De locatie is super, je bent met 5 minuten wandelen in het centrum.

Das Zimmer ist sehr schön eingerichtet, es war sauber und die Lage ist auch gut. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett. Bei einem kleinen Problem mit dem TV, wurde uns sofort geholfen.

Leider kann man kein Fenster öffnen. Eine Klimaanlage ist aber vorhanden.

Super fijne overnachting op een bijzondere plek!!!

Een unieke plek.....rustig, maar toch ook lopend zo in het centrum. Fijn dat je ook buiten kan zitten op eigen terasje bij de kerck. Gewoon super aangenaam en knus. Geen ontbijt vonden wij geen probleem, genoeg alternatieven, daarvan werd je op de hoogte gebracht.

Eigenlijk niets, alles was prima!!! Wij hebben genoten.

De zorg van de inrichting op deze bijzondere en sfeervolle plek maakte dat het veel meer was dan alleen een plek om te overnachten. We waren onder de indruk van het boek met foto's en verslag van de verbouwing van "De Kerck".

Mooie nacht op een bijzondere locatie.

Het is een zeer bijzondere locatie. Een kerk die is omgebouwd tot woonhuis en volgens mij 2 kamers die je kunt huren.

Toen wij het boekten hebben wij niet gezien dat we geen ontbijt bij zat of dat je dat niet kon boeken. Wellicht goed om dit wel te benoemen en dan wel met toevoeging dat er koffie en thee is, ook een koelkast zodat je zelf voor een ontbijtje kan zorgen en dat in de koelkast kan bewaren, denk aan beleg of drinken koeken. Ook dat er een magnetron of over aanwezig is.
