Awesome

What a lucky find. The property is just outside Middelburg's city centre, 20 min walk max, 5 min bike ride. Lots of bikes available that you can borrow, free of charge, which saves you the parking fees you'd pay anywhere in the city centre. Beautiful building. The owners are living on site and are extremely kind and helpful. There's a communal kitchen/ living space that all guests share and also shared outdoor space. Our room was in the back, leading to a patio that would be nice to use in the warmer months. The room was very clean and cozy with comfy beds, table and 2 chairs, small studio kitchen (definitely good enough if you want to prepare breakfast or a tea - but there's also the large, fully equipped kitchen in the common space). We found everything we needed, and more. Thank you!!

Excellent value accommodation close to the centre of Middelburg.

Great location close to the centre of Middelburg and made even better by having a stable of bikes to use. This was our second stay on a cycling tour and communication with our host was very good indeed, especially as we could not be sure what time we were arriving. We were able to store our bikes under cover and there is car parking on site for those with 4 wheels. The room facilities are compact but suitable for our overnight needs. If one wishes to cook a proper meal then the shared kitchen is well equipped along with a good sized dining area. ‘t Zeeuwse licht does not pretend to be luxury accommodation, but at the price point charged offers excellent value for money.

We love staying here- it has everything we need ! Lovely hosts, somewhere for our bikes , a well appointed and very clean room and some joint facilities to benefit from too. The location on the edge of Middelburg is perfect for cyclists.

Everything was perfect. The city is also worth visiting.

There is a big yard where you can park your car or bikes. The owner was super friendly. The room was awesome, you have everything you need: plates, cutlery, sink, hairdryer, even a little iron. Coffee and tea also included. There is also a separate kitchen for all guests.

Very friendly welcoming staff making you feel right at home. Bicycles are free to use to go to the center of Middelburg in just a few minutes. Comfortable beds. Good and practicle mini bathroom with toiler and shower.

Very good stay

The hotel is very nice, with very good facilities. The common areas (kitchen and outside dining table) were very useful for a take out dinner. Room had all the necessary amenities. Parking was very convenient. Hosts were very friendly, helpful and responded very quickly to every need. Would recommend and definitely would stay again.

Very good

We enjoy being independant and left to get on with our holiday. The location was quiet. The house had plenty of parking. There was plenty of open space around the house, unfortunately the weather was not good, so we couldn't sit outside. There were bikes available, free of charge, which was handy, as we could get into town quickly.

It was not obvious how to open the windows, not a big problem in October, but maybe in the summer! A toaster would have been handy and if we had stayed longer we could have asked for one.

Mooie kamer, rustige ligging op 20 minuutjes stappen van het centrum. Vriendelijk onthaal door Irma die ons veel informatie gaf. Ook de fietsen gebruiken is een meerwaarde.

Heerlijke kamer, ruime badkamer, keuken, zitje, tuin, alles voorhanden, het ontbrak ons werkelijk aan niets. Irma is een lieve gastvrouw. Op fietsafstand van het gezellige centrum en van het strand.

Ik miste een passpiegel, maar dat heb ik gemeld aan Irma.
