never a piccard again I think ...

very small room. The door was worn out and gaping open. The room was accessible via a small, worn staircase. The breakfast was poor. Although there was a staff member present, she barely noticed that spoons were missing and that part of the breakfast was gone. There were still a few cheap slices of cheese left, but the bacon or saussages had disappeared. Everything looked like very cheap stuff.

Short - brief and effective

Breakfast was straightforward and okay.

The room was a bit dated - quite a bit of noise from the neighbouring rooms - could hear and follow the conversations and the scraping of chairs being moved. Sauna / swimmingpool - missed the lockers for storage of personal belonging making me feel uncomfortable and therefor decided against using the facilities, sad - I had been looking forward to it.

breakfast was very good, a spacy area with plenty of seating space. choice of food was fine, i would have liked to be able to create a full english breakfast but the food they had available was fine.

the room was very noisy. i could hear almost everything that happened in the room next to mine as well as the sound of people walking up and down the room above me.

Near to the beach

Easy to find Nice location Comfortable bed Decent food in the evening and at breakfast.

The shower pressure was appalling. It was not much more than a dribble and after a full day of travelling it was a big disappointment. The hairdryer cable was way too short and would not stay in the plug socket. My husband had to hold it in the socket so i could dry my hair While the staff were friendly and polite I felt that the customer service was lacking. We were not given any information about breakfast times. There was no leaflet or poster in the room and when we checked out we were not asked how our stay was.

Superb

Friendly staff that lent us a USB charger and dried our very wet clothes after arriving by bike in the rain.

We could not get the heating in the room to work, only the air con, however this was overcome by allowing us to dry out clothes in the hotel dryer

Breakfast food tasted low quality. No milk or yoghurt for the granola. Coffee really really bad. Also the walls to thin. Was kept awake by loud neighbours

Excellent location, nice facilities: hidden gem in Vlissingen.

Excellent location, nice menu and pet friendly! We had a very nice stay with our dog, the room was clean and comfortable. The swimming pool and wellness facilities were pleasant as well. We will definitely be back! See you soon :)

It was a pleasure to return to my childhood town all the way from Australia. Vlissingen is still a charming seaside town

Room was small but clean and comfortable. As a solo traveller I enjoyed having a communal restaurant, friendly helpful staff, and 24 hour reception. The breakfast was excellent. Thank you!

The layout is a bit odd, but I got used to it.

Great relaxing visit

Friendly people, I was a bit late for breakfast, was no problem, was allowed to use sauna on leaving day after I checked out.

The setup of the sauna could be better. If the relaxing chairs would be in the sauna area, instead of in direct view from the bar it would be nicer. Clothing optional use of sauna not so clear, I was there on first day with young couple who were regular sauna visitors, we all wore bathing suits and we all had rather not worn them I think. Making sauna clothing optional maybe for certain times during day or evening would make it better for those who appreciate the sauna.

the rooms were very warm. we like it very cool. so we had to leave the balcony door open during the night. but this is not complain worthy, and we did not use the airco which we had in the room.

location very accessible to the beach, aircon room, friendly staff and good food at dinner

the location, staff are very friendly, facilities like pool, sauna and restaurant are all in the hotel. our family room is aircoon and if its summer and so warm its nice to have aircon, enough pillows in our room.

the breakfast can be better like more varieties of bread, koffiekoeken, and maybe other breakfast stuff like pancakes and others, in other 4 star hotels are much better breakfast

Perfect for a one-night stay

Walking distance from the railway station and the shops, friendly and helpful staff, free wifi.

No usb port in the room, which is standard in most hotels now, but luckily I had a European plug.

staff were super the location was perfect close to beach and old town Parking can be difficult in Vlissingen but not at the hotel as there are many spots in the road free of charge Hotel let us stay longer in the room after the check out time so helpful

Nothing my only small thing is that breakfast could have had more variety but as the hotel mainly had German, Dutch and Belgian guests it’s more geared to them
