Great location & super helpful & engaging.

It’s location was great! Very clean. The decor throughout was very tasteful. Breakfast was generous! Super friendly and attentive staff member at the reception and during breakfast. Thank you.

The hotel was at a good location in the center near the bus stop. Nice staff, decent breakfast.

I liked the staff very friendly and accommodating.

There was no shower gel in the bathroom or it was empty. Room was small, but all fine and clean. Just price wise I think it was too expensive for what is was.

Really nice but bring a torch if you are in the same room as me!

Staff were really good even though not on site when we arrived - they rang in advance of tour arrival to explain it all. Staff in the morning were great. The rooms were great except mine, breakfast was good and having the terrace for our bikes was a real help.

My room was really dark, too dark even with lights on in daylight. Too dark to see anything, such as the kettle. Also needed another bed side light and the bed being under the window made it worse as you could not get to the natural light easily. In fact the whole hotel was dark, a bit sombre....

Very well located and excellent breakfast. The room was Ok.

We got a room in the 2nd floor, but there was not elevator in this hotel. Therefore, I brought heavy luggage by very narrow and dangerous stairs.

Good value. Staff speak English and are helpful. Reception shuts at 6 but there is a key system in place. Old building with steep stairs. Tragic noise from rooms on the front. Really good breakfast

Supportive managers and cozy rooms

First of all, I want to thank a manager of the hotel Jamilla, she was very supportive and helped a lot with all my questions. It was almost a last-minute-booking, she replied very quickly. The room was cozy, I could increase a temperature a bit to get warm and in the morning I had a nice breakfast. Great quality, location and price!

Great quality to cost rate

The beds were great, the room had a nice bathroom and it was easy to regulate temperature in the room with the climate control panel. The breakfast buffet was nice and extensive, but a little more fruit options would have been nice.

The noise from outside was quite easy to filter, though there was a weird noise from inside the building, like machinery starting and shutting down, every now and then.

Broken promises and other guests with keys to my room… :(

Breakfast was what you could expect from such hotel. No problems.

When we arrived it turned out someone else had obtained a key which worked on their room as well as ours. Their luggage was all over the room assigned to me. At our arrival time the desk was unstaffed so I had to call someone to have it fixed. The lady then assigned a smaller room to us and promised to refund one night’s fee. We went into the city to grab a bite. Then the lady came and said she had put our belongings from the other room back into the room assigned to us and we could use our original room. She again promised to credit our bill with the fee for the 1st night. The next morning we met the manager of the hotel and she confirmed they would credit the fee of one night. During the nights my sleep was uncomfortable. How can you sleep comfortably when you believe another guest has a key to your room? Then, at check-out, obviously the fairy tales came out and the manager told me she would apply a credit. In the end she didn’t credit one night (which was promised no less than three times) but only some 30% of one night’s fee. I didn’t make a fuss because I didn’t want to spoil the rest of the weekend with my wife, but I don’t like unreliable promises. Hence a bad review for this hotel.

Great place to stay. Laid back feel and a good place to base yourself to explore Vlissingen.

Friendly staff and an open balcony outside our room, where we could enjoy a quiet drink before retiring.

Poor

Booked and paid for a room with air conditioning, room only had a noisy electric fan and almost no windows to cool. Spent 2 nights in a very hot room with a ton of noise (street, reception, restaurant, plumbing, creaky stairs). Reception gave some lousy excuse and was not willing to discuss.
