Cosy dog-friendly rooms in a perfect location!

It is quite simple and cosy. The location is just perfect. Good that dogs are allowed.

All positives aside, I believe I paid a bit too much even for this time of year.

Nice room, big enough. The location was wonderful, a few minutes walk to the (dog)beach and to the village. We'll stay there again!

There was a misunderstanding about the breakfast, we had ordered breakfast but they forgot. We still got breakfast which we appreciate. The breakfast could have a bit more variation.

I have mixed feelings about my stay. On the plus side this is a cute, dog-friendly place in a perfect location only a few steps behind the dyke with free parking right in front of it. The furniture, the self-service coffee machine, the shared fridge and the communal book swap shelf give it a charming hostel vibe. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast baskets delivered to the room are great! But…

I didn’t care that much about the paper-thin walls or the steep stairs but what really puzzled me was the hefty price tag: I’m sorry to say but the overall value for money ranks among the worst I’ve experienced in +20 years of travelling. The owners run four accommodations of different quality and this is obviously their budget alternative. I’ve stayed at other places in Domburg before, so I’m familiar with the local price range, and I’m fully aware that staying for New Year’s is more expensive but to charge almost 300€ for two nights in the small bronze room for a single guest is ridiculously overpriced.

Never again.

The owner called to see if we are still coming. I assured him that we were not far away and do too many road closures is the reason we were behind time. Very nice welcome.

Breakfast. Dirty utensils. Reynolds wrap plate. Unsealed water bottles. refillable condiment jars filled with milk, jelly, and sauce are not clean. Coffee machine nasty. Wrinkle towel spread over the bread basket. Lunch meat and pancake balls covered with aluminum foil. Wasted 40eur on breakfast I did not eat because of sanitary reasons. Parking.Terrible. Balcony dirty. The mattress moves completely off the bed. No 'Do not disturb' sign for the door. It appears the sheets and towels are not professionally cleaned.

Freundliches Personal, die Frühstücks-Idee mit dem Picknickkorb ist wirklich niedlich

Wir waren unangenehm überrascht, wie runtergekommen das Zimmer seit Unserem letzten Aufenthalt war: Die Armaturen der Badewanne waren locker und drohnten abzubrechen, es befand sich ein schwarzer Schimmelfleck am Deckenbalken und die Heizung hatte einen Defekt, der Lärm gemacht hat und uns beim Schlafen gestört hat. Es wurde zwar versucht, das zu beheben, aber natürlich war kurzfristig kein Techniker zu bekommen. Ein ruhigeres Zimmer stand wegen Renovierung angeblich nicht zur Verfügung... Schade... wir waren schon zum 3 Mal in diesem Hotel, sind nicht besonders anspruchsvoll, trotzdem hätten die Hoteliers besser daran getan, dieses Zimmer erstmal zu renovieren... in der Vergangenheit war es hier deutlich besser- wir werden wohl nicht wiederkommen

Ein einfaches Hostel in ruhiger Lage

Die Lage war sehr gut . Die Besitzer/ Angestellte waren sehr freundlich und flexibel.Die Betten waren sehr bequem . Ruhige Lage.

Die Unterkunft ist ein Hostel kein Hotel , es gibt keinen Aufenthaltsraum zum Frühstücken, es werden Körbe vor die Tür gestellt, die dann ein Frühstück beinhalten. Die Ausstattung im Zimmer ist sehr einfach . Die Dusche mit WC hat keine richtige Tür, sondern nur Klappen! Es gab keine Handtuchhalter. Lampe und WC Bürste waren durchgerostet . Duschkabine klemmte und das TV Signal war sehr schwach, sodass es ständig zu Verzerrungen kam.Es wirkte alles eher improvisiert. Die Treppen zu den Zimmern waren sehr steil,nichts für ältere Menschen oder Menschen mit Sehbehinderungen. Das Flurlicht ging leider auch nicht.Laut Beschreibung sollten Shampoo u. Duschseife vorrätig sein, leider nur Handseife.

Kort weekend in Domburg.

Locatie is prima. Centrum Domburg is nabij. Na een 10-tal meters heb je een trap naar een strandopgang.

Kamer 7 betreft een ruime zolderkamer. Aangegeven dat we met hond waren. Kamer 7 middels 2 ( steile) trappen te bereiken. Hond -onvriendelijk.

Heel gezellig! Dicht bij alles.

De Duitse gasten houden zich niet aan het huisreglement! Koffie mag pas vanaf 9 uur worden genomen, maar zij drukken al om half 8 op de knop. Er was een gast die om middernacht in de gang aan het telefoneren was – volgens hem zachtjes – maar we moesten hem erop wijzen dat hij het gesprek beter in zijn kamer kon voortzetten, waar het niet storend is.

Apparatuur was oud en versleten. Onderhoud van spullen. Douche ziet er mooi uit, maar douchekoppen zijn erg vies. Geen ontvangst en bij bellen ook liever niet.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein. Zum Glück hatten wir einen Balkon. Frühstück gab es auf dem Zimmer. Die Brot / Brötchenauswahl war sehr gut. Belagauswahl eher mäßig. Margarine wiederholt abgelaufen. Das Hotel war sehr hellhörig.

Die Lage ist sehr gut; nah zum Strand und ruhig gelegen. Die Dame, die sich um alles gekümmert hat, hat sich grosse Mühe gegeben. Die Zimmer sind ok

Der Zustand der Zimmer könnte (insbesondere für den Preis) besser sein. Die Toilettenspülung lief permanent, der Föhn war klebrig und altersschwach und die Lösung mit dem Frühstück hat einerseits Charme, ist aber für ältere Menschen, die dann für jede Tasse Kaffee 2 Etagen runter und wieder hoch laufen müssen nur bedingt geeignet. Die in anderen Rezensionen bereits erwähnten "Saloontüren" zum Bad sind tatsächlich sehr unpraktisch.
