A great week in a good location in the center of Karlsruhe
We stayed on the fifth floor in a very spacious apartment with a kitchen. The apartment is well located, close to shops and restaurants. You can rent a parking space next to the house. The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. The Wifi was very good.
It would have been great to have air conditioning and scissors.

I regret spending my money here.
Not applicable.
The Corridor in the hotel were quite smelly. The smell of beer/ urine. Our Shower had sewage come up from the kitchen pipe. Very disgusting and smelly. The issue was not actioned for one week. There was no apology. Instead, Frau Frey was racist and claimed that we were the reason for the sewage coming up in the shower. When I asked her again how she could make such a statement after causing us inconvenience she reiterated that she believed it was our fault. Despite the Plumber saying the blockage came from the kitchen pipe. We were blamed. This woman was honestly very discriminating in the way she looked at me and spoke to me with no remorse. If you are a brown/ black person I would think twice to book this hotel. The shower head was broken, the plumber replaced it after one week, the chair was broken and the arm chair was ripped. They advertise that you can have a large double bed but it is two single beds joned together. Very uncomfortable if you are a couple. The stove does continuously turn off. The kitchen stove kept turning of. Personally, this hotel does not deserve a 3-star rating. One of the ladies at reception was kind. I do have pictures hopefully I can upload them. My flight was delayed and I was not offered to leave my bags. I come from London and even a Travel Lodge 3* hotel is by miles better and cleaner, and more functional. Compare to Travelodge this is a 1* Hotel.

Disappointing
Room cleaning executives are very good.Few receptionits are also good.
A few receptionists are not good, they are very rude and don't listen and don't answer questions properly.

Would not recommend this place
Not far from the railway station. More or less stable wifi. The room at the the third floor looked much better than the room at the basement (read below).
I think it has been my worst experience of staying in Europe. The rooms are cramped, the kitchen facilities have the remains of the previous holders. The cleaning service interrupts you every morning. The staff at the reception is quite unfriendly. There are cockroaches at the base floor, so be careful and never book a room there. After a long conversation at the reception i finally got the room above, which was more clean but still the same size. On my checking out I left my key in the door and came over to inform the reception about that explaining that I might be late for my train but nevertheless I was asked to get it down there. Thank you for your support!

A good hotel apartment for a family with up to two children.
The large studio room was great and it was useful to have a kitchenette. It was an easy walk to train stations, as well as supermarkets and restaurants. The apartment was clean and the staff were helpful.
It got unpleasantly hot in summer and there was no air-conditioning or fan. The location surrounding area felt a bit grimy, but not unsafe. It would have been good to have an oven in the kitchen for pizzas, etc.
