The rooms were standard

The common areas were dirty. The lifts were confusing. We were not provided with the room that we paid for. The key card didn’t work at first. We had to go back down again to get information about the WiFi

Overall, it was a great place to stay!

stayed at Hotel am Karlstor for a few nights and was very satisfied with my experience. The location is excellent — close to the city center, shops, and public transport, making it easy to get around Karlsruhe.

Just a small note: the hotel is more like a serviced apartment, so there’s no 24-hour reception or restaurant, but that wasn’t a problem for me. There are plenty of places to eat nearby.

Most of your staff don't know English language at all, please improve o it at least they need to know English language as the international language

Nice place to stay and good service

I like the wat that the staffs love their job and they are glad to give me a service. The staffs can speak English. The room was clean enough and comfy.

When I was in the restroom the last customer didnt flush the toilet so I saw something that I shouldnt see in the toilet but beside that everything was fine

Of course, when booking with your son younger than 12 years old, he will sleep next to you, even though the reservation is originally for three people. You must read between the lines to know what you are renting. The weather was relatively hot. If I opened the window, I could not sleep from the noise of the train outside. There was a small fan that was more annoying than the street.

Location is great. Room was not large but it had all we needed. We did not have breakfast, so I cannot judge it. There is a bakery and a large shop some 20 m from the hotel.

Water from the shower easily runs into the bathroom.

I didn't get to stay at the Hotel because the check in machine was not working. Couldn't contact the staff. No response to my messages since. Had to find another Hotel to stay in late that night. Am still waiting for a response about a refund.
