It is a clean, safe place. These two details this time really tarnished the experience. But I would still recommend this

I have stayed here before and very much enjoyed it. Quiet, comfortable, decent bed, decent supplies.

This time, in DECEMBER, the heating wasn’t working. When I contacted them, they said because it wasn’t too cold outside they turned the heat down/off, and if I wanted extra blankets I could have them. But this, in my opinion is completely unacceptable. Heating is so important. Also, unlike my previous stay, the WiFi in this apartment was awful! It only worked close to the door. When I contacted them, they said it was working from their end. I couldn’t work online at all. I will say in my previous stay, the WiFi was excellent in the lower floor apartment

Central, quiet and safe for a single woman to stay, come and go throughout the day. Bathroom and shower was newly renovated and clean

Perfect stay downtown

Practical and all you need apartment. Perfect for a nice stay directly in the city center. Close to all kinds of stores and public transport. And within 10-15 minutes walk distance of Karlsruhe Palace and Karlsruhe zoo.

Nice and comfortable

A large, very comfortable, cozy, and spacious apartment. We didn't use the kitchen, but it was very nice. The location was very good, right in front of several bus and tram stops.

The window blinds need replacing. I like to sleep in a dark room that lets in plenty of light. One night we barely slept because someone kept ringing the intercom all night, and we had to disconnect it.

No goodwill mindset

I booked the room short term and in the end did not use it. Nothing was touched, nothing was used. I asked the Management if it would be possible to cancel it although it had no cancel policy. The cancel request came very short term after the booking and they could have re-rented it easily or offer me a voucher. lnstead they offered me a 10 percent discount for the next stay and no goodwill at all. For me that is a very bad customer experience. In other countries the hotel team would also react nicer instead: sorry we cannot do anything, but we offer you a 10 percent offer for your next stay.

Nice appartment but poor hygiene

The appartment had everything I needed and close to the city center. Check-in went smooth as well.

The appartment had a foul smell from the day I arrived. Especially when enabling extraction unit in the kitchen the smell got even worse. In the hallway it was also smelling bad.

My room fan ventilator is not working and weather was very hot i call hotel staff throughout hotline not speak English and they said they cant bring alternative fan ventilator and i have to wait until tomorrow morning (how possible is this )

Surprisingly comfortable

For a hotel with a kitchen, this was by far the most spacious and well equipped we have stayed in. Very clean and neat. The kitchen was in a little nook separated from the rest of the studio. Large bathroom as well, and closet space. The location is great. It is 20 minutes walk to the train station and 15 minutes to the palace. The zoo was close by and fantastically beautiful with lakes and flowers.

There is no staff. You check in and get keys from a machine that is outside the building. This went fine, but it was a bit confusing. What is good is that you can request extra key cards from the machine.

The local is excellent. Easy travel to the entire city. Paid parking is just round the corner. (Beware - paid parking is very expensive).

Communication with hotel staff was very hard. They did not respond to emails, or phone calls. I had asked them for a car parking place, to which they asked me to send an email. I did so, but got no response.

When I booked the property , I booked for 3 people. I got the confirmation of my booking for 3 people. The second email I received Only mentioned 2 people. So after having payed a price that I thought was for 3 people , I had to pay 20 euro more per day for an extra bed... a rip off. It was impossible to sleep with the window open has the street is way way too noisy. But with the window closed you die of heat... There is no middle ground.

Really Nice apartment but bad wifi

Fantastic apartment if you're looking for a place in the central part of Karlsruhe where you can be independant and for example cook your own meals. Very clean, spacious, modern and overall nice.

Pretty bad wifi, couldn't connect in majority of the room and made it really difficult to enjoy som netflix in the evenings.

Generally nice place, but needs thorough maintenance quickly!

Relatively clean and well equipped place. Centrally located. Spacious places. Room itself was facing the backyard and hence was relatively silent. Bill was provided very quickly by email after respective request.

Several shades did not exist anymore. Hence the appartment could NOT be shaded for light nor from the heat outside - resulting in a super, super warm place at arrival. Also both !!! roof window were defect, which means that the heat could not efficiently escape the place. So: No way to really get some thorough sleep in the summer days. Generally while being centrally located, the building is located at a major x-junction with quite some traffic. Also light in the bathroom was broken and no water or any other amenities provided at arrival. Check-in is anonymous at a check-in machine.

Quite nice and comfy apartment!

Great location. Across the street from the tram and walking distance to everything. The apartment was complete with everything needed for light meals during short stays. The bed was comfortable and it was roomy.

The apartment we were assigned was on the top floor, and like most places in Europe, there was no AC. We stayed from June 11 to June 24 and most days were pretty hot and sunny, which was great for our days outdoors, but coming back to a pretty hot apartment. Luckily, most nights cooled down and we opened the windows to refresh. If you can, and go during the summer, request an apartment in a different floor.

The apartment was on the top floor with windows in the roof. The shades were however not there anymore apart from 1. In the morning I was woken up way too early due to the sun. It could have been made clearer that the apartment was not at the place where one gets the key form the machine. A map would have been useful along with a note on the screen.

Exceeded our expectations

The room is very spacious, modern and flawlessly clean. The location is very good: There is a tram stop directly in front of the building (it's called Karlstor/Bundesgerichthof), which is directly connected to the central station (through tram 2 or 3) and other destinations. The city core is just in walking distance. We had a great stay here, even though it was just 1 night.

Nothing, everything was great. But it's important to mention that we had to pick up our key at a different location first. It was in walking distance so that's okay.

Overall a very good stay except the initial challenge of waiting 5 hrs near the check-in machine.

The property is located at an excellent location. You have the Tram station just as you get down and Edeka Supermarket across the road. Lot of shops and restaurants including supermarkets like EDEKA, ALDI, REWE etc. which makes this a very convenient and lively place to stay.

Had to wait for 5 hours as we arrived at 10:00 am and check-in was only at 03:00 pm. It was terrible waiting near the check-in counter in cold. Some facility to at least sit inside, like a waiting area with some chairs or a sofa should be provided.

overall it was not bad but I would not stay again

great location, close to a supermarket

the elevator did not work during my whole stay, which was 5 days. And I lived on the 4th floor. Had to lift all of my heavy suitcases all the way to the room using the stairs and the same when I was checking out. I didn’t like the electronic self check-in process that is located in a separate building across the road. I had 3 suitcases and had to walk all the way, just to get my keys.

Disappointing

The room was not clean. Under bed there was huge dust. Maybe it was Ok for a single person, but for a family with a small child, it would be unhealthy. Also the ground was not completely clean, specifically the corners
