Comfortable beds however not quite 'what we liked' as the rooms were dirty.

The house was very dirty. We spent an hour cleaning the kitchen, tumbling the damp towels and putting plates, glasses, cutlery etc through the dishwasher. We then put out these items on a surface which we'd cleaned, on top of a tea towel we'd taken the only used these during our stay. Yes the beds were comfortable however sleeping in a dirty room didn't make the nights sleep pleasant. Yes the kitchen was well equipped however who wants to use mucky stuff? Toilet seats were either loose or actually broken with no fixings. The trip was important to us and I was not going to get into a quibble with the owner - who must have known how dirty the whole place was. Including the disrepair, general finish of the property and dirt. Four scruffy kitchen chairs. One small table to eat meals at. One uncomfortable bed settee with a dirty cover to sit on. A blocked tumble dryer filter - possible fire hazard. Extension cable for the wall mounted TV dangling in a dangerous manner, especially if you had young children. A ripped material wardrobe in one room - we left our clothes in our suitcase. Black mould in a bathroom. Bath with no bath taps. Damp towels on all of our beds. We contacted the owner as we got home. We should have contacted her earlier, apparently. This would have absolutely ruined all of our time away. Quibbling. The cleaner adamant the property was clean. The guests staying after us, happy. (Not surprising as we left the place cleaner than when we arrived). Not that we picked the sweet wrappers off the floor - dropped by previous guests? The owner has seen the majority of the photos we are posting prior to us reviewing the property. "The cleaner was adamant the house was clean". A 10% discount on a future stay doesn't go anywhere near to an apology.

This is a modern property with an en-suite shower room to the master bedroom. The road is quiet and there is off street parking. The owner was easy to contact and helpful.

The sofa was uncomfortable. There was no washing up liquid, brush or scourers available. It would have been nice to have some tea/coffee / milk available, but my booking was very last minute so maybe that’s why.

House wa neat and clean.

One ground floor bedroom has open skylight roof window which does not have curtains.. so you can not sleep in it.

Nice clean and big house . New refurbished

The reason we stayed was the property is not far from family and grandchildren that live near by. Was also that you could park 2 cars on driveway. Good value for money and would look to book again.

There was no mirrors.

such a home from home house, they had everything you could possibly need ! The host was so quick at helping, the cleaner was lovely and I couldn’t fault anything! We will definitely be back to visit!!!

The boiler/ hot water heating didn’t work however the beds were warm enough!!!

The house was very big and had loads of space and a big garden outside, the host was fast at responding and lovely neighbours aswell thank you Favour will deffinatelty recomend

Clean and comfortable

A sauna was advertised, but there wasn’t one. Kitchen lacking a couple of basics, no toaster, bottle opener, knives for cutting.

Beautiful new home. Clean and welcoming. Nice little touches like shampoo conditioner bodywash and soap. The hosts were brilliant, anything I needed they were easy to get in touch with and helpful. We will definitely be back.

We where the first to stay in this house.and only stayed 1 night Lovely area and stunning house with everything you need. The host was a really nice lady and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be staying again in the future thank you 😊
