A superb holiday bungalow in a central location

This is a lovely little bungalow for a couple to use as a base for exploring Cornwall. The accommodation was spacious, clean and very well equipped. It is close to Truro city centre with all its amenities, but also an easy drive to Falmouth and the south coast, or alternatively resorts like Perranporth on the north coast. It's only 10 minutes drive to the A30, for quick links to east and west Cornwall. The hosts were very attentive when needed, but also very discreet. Altogether, the best holiday accommodation we have had in Cornwall (and we have stayed in a lot!)

Great location, the hosts were extremely welcoming, provided us with a beautiful hamper for us to enjoy during our stay. The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. We also had our own lovely outdoor garden area to relax in.

Warm, comfortable, home like in pleasant surroundings and quiet.

Rob the host made contact with us prior to our arrival, and as we were arriving by train he organised to pick us up and convey us to the property. Next morning he then conveyed us to the car rental depot. He went over and above to make our stay a memorable experience.

Fantastic cottage at perfect location for exploring Cornwall

The cottage was wonderful in many ways: spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and equipped with anything you could possibly need. We were welcomed by wonderful hosts who provided us with a delicious starting package of food and even fresh cut flowers. We felt very much at home and would have been happy to extend our 1-week stay by many weeks. The cottage is located at the edge of Truro in a quiet and very secure area on beautifully maintained grounds. It’s a great location from which to explore Cornwall. Highly recommend this cottage!

Safe location in private grounds, nice and peaceful. Hosts always on hand but never intrusive. Home from home stay. Nice touch, leaving some milk and cider and a cream tea for two in the fridge. Even had tea, coffee sugar etc. available.

Wonderful stay with great hosts at a beautiful venue

I put my two friends up here for their stay in Truro and they had a wonderful time. The hosts were okay with allowing me to come over and hang out with them which was nice. There was a lovely little garden sitting area to hang out in and lots of land around. It's also a very short walk to the bus stop where you can get the 91/93 from Buckshead back into Truro or over to Newquay (you could also easily walk into Truro as it is entirely downhill). The cottage was entirely equipped and is perfect for two people to chill. The specific buses that run by are really good if you want to go to Newquay beach (the 91 is faster) though the buses are always late (usually about 10 minutes) so it is worth getting the Go Bus app before venturing out so you can see when they are about to arrive. I've stayed at many more expensive venues that have provided far less. There were baking trays, frying pans, lots of utensils, all in very good condition, a variety of knives, colour coded chopping boards, weighing scales, plates, shot glasses, and they even leant us their large dutch oven for cooking a duck. You simply do not see this value anywhere else, especially not in Truro. --- We had a medical emergency at the property where my friend went unconscious due to an allergy and the host was quick to help and bring out a ramp for the paramedics to get in. Thanks to his quick thinking my friend was 100% fine. I could not have had someone better on hand during the emergency. By the end of their stay, my friends were describing our hosts as beloved neighbours. If possible, I would rent this place again when they return next year. Hopefully without accidentally feeding anyone cashews and heading to the ER!

I did feel a little bad coming in and out to see my friends as there is a gate and I'd have to disturb the hosts to get them to open it to come in or out. That said, they never expressed annoyance over this fact, it is merely my own anxiety that makes me think about it!

Very happy with our stay,will defo come back

The accommodations was excellent and the house is fully equipped with everything you need. Very clean and well decorated it felt like home. The hosts were very nice and welcoming,they gave us the perfect amount of space while still being very attentive. We were also invited to spend some time in the bar which was pretty good just felt like we walked into a pub with plenty of drinks to choose from.

The hosts were so welcoming warm and helpful. They also had some treats waiting for us in the kitchen! The bungalow was wonderful with all the facilities you could need with a cosy yet modern feel! Could not recommend it more !
