Location was perfect, and very cosy.
Nothing!

We needed a break. Abbey Place Net Loft was just perfect. Steps from the waterfront (not on the seafront but the view of the sea over rooftops was lovely). Skylights in lounge made stargazing a warm and cosy evening event. Everything we needed in terms of kitchen. We like to make breakfast when away. The fridge and hob (kettle, microwave, toaster and oven also available) made this easy. The bed was very comfy (hairdryer and extension lead were very appreciated). Great internet (had to do a bit of work while there and this was easy). Shower or bath with plenty of hot water. Quiet and private space. We loved the area. Undertook Southcoast Trail hike to Lamorna (it's more challenging than we thought but well worth it). Mousehole is just so accessible, too. Great local eateries, etc. The bus runs every 20 minutes or so from right out front. We got to Newlyn and Penzance easily. Coming back to a home away from home was just lovely. Host and their local support couldn't be nicer nor more responsive. Feel renewed.

The location in the heart of Mousehole. Everything is very very close by.
Nothing really. I would stay again no problem.

Location and the quirky loft was so nice
5.0 / 10.0
Great location, stone throw from harbour but not a harbour view as house infront. It was quiet and quirky, sweet alley way and steps to front door.
Very dated and tired in need of updating for example, shower in the bath, cooker symbols eroded, settee is old and sofa mattress lumpy (better with their feather topper), curtains black out fabric is shredded..soo old information booklet is very out of date. cleanliness was poor, settee heavily stained and mattress, cobwebs throughout. Didn't effect our stay as we were out all day and it was a short stay but it could be so much better. No reflection on propery but parking is a mare high costs, narrow streets but wouldn't out me off visiting the village again

Beautiful little place, light and airy yet comfortable and snug. Perfect for a short getaway for a couple. Plenty of suitable kit in the kitchen, comfy sofa, comfy bed and the shower was really good(as electric showers go!) location is great as everything in Mousehole is just a short walk away.
N/a :)

The location was brilliant, right in the middle of Mousehole and there was even a view of the sea from the first floor windows. The accommodation was very well equipped and nicely furnished. It was clean and there was plenty of space. There was also a washing machine and airer which were nice to have.
The symbols have been mostly wiped off of the oven so it was tricky to decipher which setting was which. The extract fan in the bathroom is running very loudly and is very dusty.

Excellent location for us walking the south west coast path, bus stop right outside! Able to walk to beach, harbour and restaurants and enjoyed the quirkiness of this property which had everything we needed.
Found the duvet a bit warm for summer months and bath mat needed an upgrade.

Brilliant location.
The bathroom smelt damp and the shower was weak. The one set of towels were wet from day one with nowhere to dry them. There was no alternative to the quilt on the bed in the very hot weather- just a sheet would have been good. Generally the accommodation was rather basic and lacking any nice touches.

Brilliant. Lovely cosy accomodation, right on the harbour. Parking was fine. Excellent value for money, host was easy to contact and helpful

Nice 5 day break, only slightly spoiled by imperfect weather and being pre-season so not everything was open as I’d perhaps hoped - my mistake.
The accommodation was just what I needed, centrally located, just behind the main street and really close to the local bus-stop. It was also a short walk to the local where I was welcomed by friendly staff and ate well most evenings.
Using the bus meant there was no need to worry about driving / parking etc. which was a real benefit in terms of enjoyment, compared to my last visit, given the narrow roads and lanes in the locale.
Would happily return at some time in the future, if the chance arises.

Incredible location, nice and cosy and decent amenities. Fantastic value for money.
Wi-fi was patchy but understandable given the location.

Well located, comfortable and quiet. Walking distance from Newlyn and access to South West Coastal Path. Not necessary to use the car to get about
Only a very small glimpse of the sea visible from the property.

Stunning location in the heart of the village. The building itself was charming with excellent facilities. Perfect for a relaxing stay.
nothing.

Simple but adequate and centrally located in the village for a few days break. Instructions to find and local info was useful. The apartment seemed clean, with a bath (with shower over) and ample hot water, and the electric heaters are quick and effective. Bus stop nearby with regular service to Penzance and Newlyn. Good pub and some other nice places to eat in Mousehole.
Various maintenance attention is needed: Several of the double glazed windows have "blown" so are permanently condensated and the slit ventilators are also missing from the windows so allowing cold draughts in. The blinds on the Velux windows above the top floor sitting room are ripped, unsightly and in need of removal or replacement, in fact the Velux needs to be swivelled open and thoroughly cleaned. The shower curtain rail is rusty. The pillows and mattress feel cheap. The outside PIR light did not work, (luckily the neighbouring one across the alleyway did).

Limited sound insulation in the property so noise was audible from next door. Generally this didn't matter as all went quiet after about 10 pm. Unfortunately, the neighbour seemed to be doing DIY or cleaning until gone midnight on the final night!

It was very attractive and had all the facilities we needed
It was very cold to start with but it soon warmed up. We would have liked a bit of milk on arrival and there was no salt or pepper which we didn’t warrant going out to buy. Grateful for the extra bedding

The property is beautiful and in a beautiful location in Mousehole. It is 2 mins walk to the sea/harbour., shops and restaurants.
I can’t say we didn’t like anything about the property. It was excellent.

Very central place to stay to enjoy all that Mousehole has to offer. Great places to eat. Excellent bus service to and from Penzance if you don't want to drive once you get a parking place. Neighbours all very friendly.
Bed could have been a little larger. But a really good place to be based for a break.

I loved everything about this place and hope to be able to come back many times.

Fantastic location, super clean property, great facilities
Halfway through our stay scaffolding was put up right outside the property affecting the living room and bedroom. It was very noisy as it was being put up and incredibly intrusive having men along on scaffolding right outside the windows.
It also meant our relaxing lie in didn’t happen on the last 2 days.
It would have been courteous to have informed us beforehand

The location is so convenient for all the best parts of Mousehole, you even get a bit of a view of the old harbour through the roof tops from the living room.
The bus service into Newlyn and Penzance is regular and inexpensive, so take advantage of this rather than driving around and parking. We parked the car up and left it until the trip home as the bus was so much more convenient and cheaper than driving and paying to park.
Amenities are limited in Mousehole, if you want a meal in any of the local cafes or restaurants, you should book in advance. Buy some food to take with you as buying groceries etc in the village is very limited. The netloft has an oven, stove and microwave so it's easy to make up your own meals if you go prepared. If your driving in via Penzance you will pass a few big supermarkets on the A30 to stock up before you arrive.

Great location
Windows need fixing

The neighbors were cool.
Two people for five nights and we were only left 1 extra toilet roll, had to buy our own.
No sponge or cloth to wash dishes or wipe counters.
No laundry soap.
No hot pads.
No face/wash cloths.
No trash bags.
No bath mat.
No foil or plastic wrap.
Hard to find! Our directions said it was 30 ft. left of the News Agent/General Store. There is no such business, it's a gift shop now! Duck Street sign is way above eye level making it hard to locate. We spent half an hour trying to find the place.
Parking is inconvenient and not always available during high tides.
The landing in front of the door needs a good scrub.
The lower floor has a musty smell--could benefit from a dehumidifier.

The Net Loft was a classic Cornish loft in the quaint town of Mousehole, and we loved the decoration as well as the location down the alleyway. Directions were comprehensive as well as instructions for rubbish, etc. There was a homemade booklet in the lounge telling of the best areas to visit/eat in surrounding areas. Overall the facilities were clean and comfortable.
No dishwasher.

Nicely decorated, clean and comfortable, bedroom downstairs so always a cool environment to sleep. Excellent wifi.
Parking in Mousehole is a nightmare. cheaper harbour car parks were always full so I had to park in main car park at a cost of £11 per night and walk up the hill each morning. I hadn’t counted on such an expense.
10.0 / 10.0
The position to the harbour, village, the Ship Inn, The Coastguard Hotel, the easy use of local buys to Newlyn.
Maybe be, duvet needs changing as stained, the lack of local convenience shop for necessities, i. e toilet rolls, coffee, cleaning items, but didn't spoil the stay in any way, excellent position based for visiting other areas.

Mousehole is a great place
The apartment was functional and comfortable
Property a bit tired with some rotten window frames
Not enough glasses / no wine glasses
Too little cutlery and crockery
