Abbey Place Net Loft

Location was great, the place was very clean with everything provided and communication with Andy was excellent. We even managed to store 2 kayaks out the front of the place. My wife is vegan and we found plenty of options to eat within the village, The Orange Cafe was excellent and worth a visit. No phone signal within the loft but wifi is provided. A phone signal can be gained just outside at the harbour.

The bathroom was dated but still functional however no where to put wet towels except on a door hook. We were informed the walls were thin, but you can here everything from the neighbours next door. This wasn't too much of a problem for us but could be for others.

Location was perfect, and very cosy.

We needed a break. Abbey Place Net Loft was just perfect. Steps from the waterfront (not on the seafront but the view of the sea over rooftops was lovely). Skylights in lounge made stargazing a warm and cosy evening event. Everything we needed in terms of kitchen. We like to make breakfast when away. The fridge and hob (kettle, microwave, toaster and oven also available) made this easy. The bed was very comfy (hairdryer and extension lead were very appreciated). Great internet (had to do a bit of work while there and this was easy). Shower or bath with plenty of hot water. Quiet and private space. We loved the area. Undertook Southcoast Trail hike to Lamorna (it's more challenging than we thought but well worth it). Mousehole is just so accessible, too. Great local eateries, etc. The bus runs every 20 minutes or so from right out front. We got to Newlyn and Penzance easily. Coming back to a home away from home was just lovely. Host and their local support couldn't be nicer nor more responsive. Feel renewed.

Great location, stone throw from harbour but not a harbour view as house infront. It was quiet and quirky, sweet alley way and steps to front door.

Very dated and tired in need of updating for example, shower in the bath, cooker symbols eroded, settee is old and sofa mattress lumpy (better with their feather topper), curtains black out fabric is shredded..soo old information booklet is very out of date. cleanliness was poor, settee heavily stained and mattress, cobwebs throughout. Didn't effect our stay as we were out all day and it was a short stay but it could be so much better. No reflection on propery but parking is a mare high costs, narrow streets but wouldn't out me off visiting the village again
