A Good Place to Stay

I am editing my prior post. We arrived late in the evening and when we discovered that we couldn't get a hot shower, even after following the instructions in their booklet, we did not want to call and went to bed, thinking perhaps it was our misunderstanding. The front door was also a bit tricky. The next morning we confirmed no hot water in shower or taps. Unfortunately, we had a tight itinerary and so dressed to leave. As we were walking out Alan arrived to try to fix the problem. So, I would have to say that he went above and beyond to try to help. The location of this apt. was convenient, as was the parking, and using the lock box to get in was fine. One in our party forgot something and being quite near the Loch Lomand retail mall was great.

Cracking stay in Balloch

The apartment was super clean and comfortable. Everything you could need was there, including Milk which was a nice touch for a cup of tea on arrival. The beds were really comfortable and the shower was excellent. The location was quiet and well located. Alan was an excellent host . We were 3 friends on a tour and we all gave the apartment 10/10 and would happily return and recommend

Amazing weekend.

Lovely and clean home from home. Host has all amenities covered for an enjoyable stay and added that special festive touch at Christmas time. Located close to all local attractions, supermarkets etc. The host provided all information for entry and departure in advance of the trip and was extremely helpful. Would definitely reccomend for all age groups and look forward to visiting again in the near future.

A perfect place to stay! Book this apartment and be assured of a relaxed, safe and quiet visit!!

The apartment owners catered to their guests needs in that there were little extras in the property - e.g. milk in the fridge, extra supplies of cleaning products and toilet rolls galore! A well thought out let. The apartment itself was sparkling clean, cosy and welcoming. The area of this apartment was really peaceful and within a five minute walk to the local supermarket and a 15 minute leisurely walk into the centre of Balloch. The beds were super comfortable and the shower was powerful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to friends, family and work colleagues!! Well Done!!

There wasn't anything I didn't like but it would have been better if there there a mirror in the twin room and extension cables in both bedrooms to enable hair drying next to the mirrors. We didn't have time to use the garden but it would have be nice to be able to sit out if we'd stayed longer. The grass was a little long but there were fairy lights strung along the back fence, which was a nice touch!

It was very clean, very well kept and the small additional touches like a pint of milk in the fridge upon arrival really show the owner cares. It's very close to amenities such at the co-op (walking distance at a couple 100m). A great location for going to explore Loch Lomond.

The flat was very nice, well equiped.

When we arrived in the house there were only 11 celsius degree, because the heater was off. It tooks 9 hours to heat the flat. We would have appreciated it if the heating was turned on before our arrival.
