The cottage is in a really good location for exploring what is round about. It's a really lovely property very cosy and homely. It has a large garden and although it was December you can imagine how lovely it will look during the summer months. The owners are going to renovate an old railway carriage that is next to the property and I will be definitely booking a stay there once it's completed!!!
Everything was absolutely fine

It was located ideally, close to many attractions we were keen to see.
The cottage was clean and comfortable with good facilities.
The towels need replacing - after a day or two they were smelly - it was a wet period while we were there with little opportunity to get them thoroughly dry.

Lovely stay at Garden Cottage. Linda welcomed us and gave some good suggestions of how to spend our few day. Cottage was cosy and we appreciated the fire and complimentary whiskey!

Linda at the property was lovely and welcoming. The cottage was beautifully presented and clean, with a relaxing garden to sit in and a real fire to cosy up to on an evening. The location was great with free parking at the front. Easy to get to the local towns and villages to explore the loch. There were lots of lovely little touches such as blankets, books and information available. They even provided us with a wee dram, to warm us up after a day of exploring.
There is a bus but not as regular as us city folk would be used to, so worth knowing if you want to travel further afield you will need to drive. Not a problem for us though.

The cottage is quaint and the owner was lovely - the little welcome of a wee dram with shortbread was lovely and thoughtful. The cottage was very welcoming, we loved the large garden, the decor throughout was quaint and in keeping with the property - homely and comfortable. Easily found on the main stretch through Balloch. Owner very informative of the area and very responsive. Great WiFi and a well equipped kitchen. Plenty of space for our small family and the safe, parking outside was a great bonus. All in all a lovely little place. We didn't use the wood burner, as we was out long days - but the smell of the wood throughout the cottage was a lovely reminder of the countryside living.
We had an initial problem with the heating, that the owner came to solve straight away, he was more than helpful and a really lovely chap, but after the initial intervention, although the heat came on and we was warm enough, the radiators never really heated up fully (wasn't a problem as such for us as the weather was very mild and the log burner could have been used). Also the front bedroom could be a tad noisy through the night with the full beam from cars coming through the blind - blackout curtains would help. We found the bed pillows a tad too thin, fine for the duration of our stay but something a little thicker and firmer would add that extra luxury. Lastly a more powerful shower would be beneficial and a little more luxurious - (but thinking of the age of the property, it was great for the duration of our stay). All in all the property was lovely for the duration of our stay.

Great location we visited Loch Lomond area, Bridge of Allan and Glasgow. Set back from the road with good parking, some traffic noise but didn't disturb. Large garden at the back, plentiful supply firewood and heating(radiators). Large comfortable sofa. Local walks.

Location
Garden area dirty and unkempt, disrespectful to guests.Shower had wood sticks to prop the shower head. Was not able to connect to tv. Hoover was disgusting and did not work. House was not as clean as I would have expected. Decor was old fashioned.

A beautiful little cottage providing all the facilities we needed for a lovely long weekend away. Very comfortable home.
We liked the fact we were not in the centre and more in the countryside but close enough to travel to local amenities.
The cottage was on a main road just set back a lilittle so had some road noise but didn't bother us.
Would have been nice if in walking distance was somewhere to go to eat etc
