Although wet and windy outside, the cottage was a welcome retreat post walks!

The cottage has been fitted out extremely well… kitchen, diner, tv and en suite. It is situated in its own area with private access. The owners were extremely helpful in advising and helping us during our stay.

Lovely big kitchen with everything we needed for cooking. Comfortable seating area with smart tv. Comfortable bed with clean en-suite. Beautiful, peaceful location with private parking and privacy for outdoor dining.

We did not dislike anything. We would have liked a small dining table in the living area to eat a meal at rather than higher bar stools. Would also like a later checkout than 10am. We feel that 10am came from Covid times and should have reverted back to 11am by now.

Lovely house and great hosts

I did not stay at White Cottage for long, I was walking nearby and was not feeling well so booked very last minute. The hosts were exceptionally kind and did everything they could try and help me. The bed was also exceptionally comfortable.

Cozy quiet private cottage perfect for a good nights rest along the west highland way.

It was quiet and private and clean and had everything we needed for coffee, tea, a fridge and cooking supplies for making eggs and toast in the morning

Beautiful comfortable bed

The most comfortable bed I have slept on in 3 weeks in Scotland. Lovely and modern cottage in quiet area. Kitchen was very well set up if you want to cook. Gift box on arrival was an unexpected well received treat.

Booked for 3 adults and it was a little cramped with the sofa bed set up. Fine for a night but ideally suited for 2 people. Google maps took us down a very narrow road which we didn't need to take.

Everything you could possibly need for a short stay in the countryside

Had everything we could possibly need for a night stay whilst on the west highland way including the sunshine!

Would be good to have some milk in the fridge for a cup of tea. But otherwise it was perfect! Hosts were a delight and easy to contact.

Lovely hosts, property mostly good but a little short of ‘luxury’.

Nice small flat. The owners made themselves and the property available despite our late arrival. Kitchen area was good. Shower/toilet was good.

It was advertised as luxury but there were hairs on the bedding. A more luxurious rug on the living room floor and a nicer sofa would have added to the ‘luxurious’ label and it could have been warmer although the bedroom and bathroom were warm enough.

The hosts were so thoughtful, lots of useful information in the welcome pack and some lovely food items to get us started. They were so kind and ready to help at any moment, answering questions and even gifting us when they found out we got engaged. Very warm and friendly and the accommodation echoed this too.

A gem of a place to stay with areas around to enjoy a leisurely walk.

Self contained, all the facilities we needed for a couple of nights and two sleeping areas.

Not a criticism but if we had to find something, then a little more room in the bathroom/shower with hooks or shelves to put toilet bags, towels on.
