A lovely comfortable apartment with a great host!

We had a very comfortable stay in what was a lovely and well-furnished and kitted out apartment. Louise was a wonderful host who was very responsive to our requests (eg. to adjust the timing of the heating).

Alexandria stop over

Fantastic, homely apartment in a great location. We only stayed one night as heading further up to the north of Scotland. Perfect location for this with no hassles, just what we needed with delayed ferry and terrible stormy driving conditions. Special mention also to the amazing neighbours who help changed our flat tyre which we woke up to the next morning!!7

I loved this property. Comfy, cosy and clean, with plenty of room for families

The property has stunning hardwood floors, is clean and really nice. Plenty space for everyone and is decorated beautifully. Great location close to the centre of Balloch and Alexandria, easy to get anywhere on foot and by car The host is lovely, friendly and helpful. She made sure throughout the stay that everything was alright and was always on hand for recommendations etc.

Wonderful accomodation, the apartment was very clean, well equipped, nicely decorated and a short walk to train station and Balloch. The host Louise was lovely and even gave us a lift to the train station. All four of us enjoyed ourselves immensely. We recommend highly (no pun intended) the West Highland Way it's incredible. For eating our favourite place was Annayas Indian- the staff are the best!

Very comfortable apartment.

The apartments was gorgeous, very comfortable. Very much like home from home. Had everything in it that we meeded, plus more. The owners were very accomofating, letting me in early n stay later. Will definitely go back :)

Perfect accommodation perfect host

Very comfortable apartment very clean and warm, had everything we needed plus more !! Louise was very thoughtful and went the extra mile for my brothers birthday, very responsive to messages and questions we had about the area, would deffo stay here again and would recommend this place/ service to anyone. Perfect location, beds wor comfy had a great nights sleep.

Only part was the shop over the road alarm went off for a good while same time 2 nights in a row, must be when there locking up… how ever this wasn’t a major problem and didn’t affect us and it’s not in Louise’s control either, but being honest for the review this is the only thing that could say.

Excellent stay, great value, thoughtful host.

Friendly host with plenty of great ideas for touring the area. Easy access to both Loch Lomond and Glasgow city center. Near train station, too. Small grocery across the street. Charming decor and fun Scotland books available for a quick read. Street parking is free and easy, too.

A lovely apartment at a perfect location

A charming spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Close to restaurants and a little supermarket across the street. Our host was very kind and helpful when we needed something and gave many useful tips. The location is perfect for exploring the area. We would stay there again!

The right house was a bit hard to find because there are no housenumbers, but our host would adjust the description for future guests. A sign would be helpful too. There was a problem with the boiler and the water pressure which I'm sure is fixed now but showering was an issue for us those two days. Just bad luck for us.

Charming, warm and inviting, in great location.

Very accommodating hostess, lots of kind, helpful and thoughtful additions to stay including bottled water and delicious home made fudge. The flat has a lovely rustic charm. It is roomy and warm,and the bed we slept in was comfortable. There was a water bowl for our dog, and I am sure Louise would have provided a dog bed, had we not informed her we always bring his prescription bed with us. Everything you could need is provided in the little kitchen. There is a small set of internal steps inside, we simply barricaded by placing the ironing board on its side, to stop our blind dog going for a tumble. It was lovely and quiet, no noise at all either from neighbours, or from people who frequented the supermarket, during our 2 day stay. Easy access to the flat by a single sturdy flight of covered steps. We walked the dog in the rear garden or the lovely park behind the flat.Parking immediately outside the property on the street was easy. Thanks Louise, we look forward to our next visit.

I wish we could have stayed longer. Next time!

It had plenty of room for the two of us and was very clean and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helped us out with the heating. All in all a great place to stay for a couple of nights.

The apartment was lovely and homely. Everything we needed for our stay was available. I travelled myself with 2 children and found the apartment to be a proper little home from home. Location was perfect. Our host was very helpful. I am looking to sorting out a stay again for next year

Wonderful

Beautifully presented apartment a short walk from loch Lomond shore and a multitude of great bars and restaurants. The host was so helpful, giving us advice on things to do and places to go. Beds were very comfy and the apartment very well equipped with lots of towels. We loved it!

Lovely decor, comfortable, warm home from home

Really comfortable apartment in a great location for exploring Loch Lomond, super helpful tips from the owner Louise prior to arrival and we referred to them lots when there. Apartment was warm, very comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. Nice chocolates and some provisions when we arrived. Would highly recommend.

The hosts where very friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of helpful information about the area, for example what to see and where to eat. The apartment is comfortable and very nicely decorated with artwork, pillows and blankets, also games and books for entertainment and information about Scotland.

Just wonderful

The property was immaculate, light, airy & super comfortable. Shame we only stayed one night, but it was the perfect stop for a reset. Louise was extremely helpful sharing details of local amenities etc. Great park close by for the kids to burn off energy too!

Location to Loch Lomond was perfect for us, Morrisons across the road for food and drink and a spotless apartment couldn’t have hoped for better.

Beautifully decorated

Flat has been recently been decorated and has beautiful art work through out the property. The main bedroom is absolutely massive. The kitchen is well stocked. A lot of work has went into making the flat feel homely. TV is up on the wall, my small child couldn't reach it, which was a bonus. Property was spotless, beds had crisp white bedding with throws and decorative pillows, we had plenty of towels, lots of cleaning products, board games and information booklets and leaflets on things to do in and around the local area. Neighbours were friendly. There is a large park at the end of the street and football pitches. Shop across road from property, swimming is within walking distance. As are both local train stations. My kids both had a great time.

I was aware stairs are inside the property (5) but I wasn't aware that there was an additional 10 stairs outside the property. Which was an issue for me with a large pram.

Gezellig en ruim appartement op een rustige locatie

Ruim appartement in een rustige wijk aan de voet van Loch Lomond met een buurtsuper, die nog tot laat open is om de hoek. (Met vers gemalen koffie!) Ideale plek om de omgeving van Loch Lomond te ontdekken of op doorreis naar de Highlands. Louise, onze host was zeer behulpzaam met tips. In de toekomst zal je ook gebruik kunnen maken van de tuin, maar dat zijn ze nog mee bezig.

Tolle Wohnung, toller Gastgeber!

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung. Ruhige Lage, Supermarkt direkt gegenüber, 15 min zu Fuß zu Restaurants etc. Louise war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns mit Tipps für die Umgebung und Ausflügen versorgt.
