The interior windowsills were made of plastic, which I've never seen before, and are starting to crack -- gave alarmingly when leaning on one to open a window.

Clean, classy and comfortable flat, will certainly use again!!!

Flat was immaculate and had everything we needed including a highchair and travel cot. We will certainly use this flat again as we are down in Balloch quite a few times a year. The information booklet was fab and even all the important numbers a tourist may need!! was just so impressed overall.

The only down side is the flat is on the second floor and there is no lift so not great for anyone who struggle with stairs or has lots to take with them or larger cases etc, but we were aware of this when we booked. So only down side for us was the traipsing up the stairs with the bags.

Great location, great host, insanely comfortable beds.

Great location, very spacious, clean, well equipped, quiet flat, walking distance away from center of the city, lovely, very welcoming host. Probably one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in, maybe it may have had something to do woth all the fresh air too, but coming from busy life and "fresh" air of London, this was a retreat. 11/10 I would stay again if in the area. fantastic place, highly recommend.

Great place to stay in Balloch.

Easy check in with the keys in the lockbox. Alan, our host, responded quickly to our queries. The apartment was clean and tidy, which could accommodate 4 of us. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen was well equipped and we can prepare simple meals. The beds were comfortable which allowed us a good sleep. The location was good too, within walking distance to the town center and near driving to places of attractions around Balloch. The TV entertainment channels were great! And finally the checking out like any other instructions was easy and simple. Thanks Alan and June. We had a great stay although it was only for two nights.

Perfect pitstop with a nicely appointed apartment.

I appreciated the restaurant recommendations after a long day of travel from Liverpool. Loved the stream and water sounds all night.

Smelly enteryway and stairwell. Thankfully, the smells didn't waft into the apartment.

Superb

Whilst not the most promising looking from the outside, the apartment is absolutely lovely inside. It was very clean and had a real sense of comfort and quality. The hosts provided all the necessary information in a timely manner, and getting hold of the keys was simple. There is plenty of parking available. Although in a quiet enough spot, the apartment is a short walk to the centre where there were lots of nice looking bars and restaurants - I would recommend booking a place to eat as every place looked very busy (on a Saturday night admittedly) and the place we ate at was turning away all walk ups.

The only minor criticism I could offer is that I personally found the double bed in the main bedroom a little too soft, though that's a very subjective thing - my spouse thought it was fine.

Good property in a great location

Great location within a short distance of local attractions. Large 2 bedroomed well equipped flat. Good self catering base with lots of little extras within the property (cooking and cleaning basics) Beautiful views

Strong smell of smoke in communal area of property. Property inside is of a good standard but attention to detail is needed to make it great eg skirting boards throughout property need painted, door damaged in bedroom, scuffs on walls and dining chairs worn. Bathroom needs a good clean, thick dust and marks on door and cobwebs on ceiling. Extractor fans dirty, heaters and sockets need cleaned. Musty smell in flat, air freshener would sort this. Security door to enter building was unlocked with a notice asking it be left that way - didn't feel safe. Check out was 10am and cleaner was waiting outside for us to leave.

Lovely modern spacious apartment and decor. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds. With all the little extras, tea, coffee, milk, bin bags, clothes etc.

Only slight issue was the shower. Struggled to get right temperature and pressure . But a lovely bathroom and certainly wouldn't put me off returning

everything we needed was there for our 4-night stay with a family of 4 with 2 young kids. we appreciated the decoration and the availability of spare towels walking distance to main street with restaurants, although we only did it once

would have preferred a proper dining table over the high table with bar chairs, but this also worked fine everything was very clean, except the inside of the fridge which could have been better cleaned

Good apart from the front door not working.

We were unable to get into the property in the early hours of the morning because the front door key did not fit the communal door! Fortunately we managed to get in by a neighbour.

We loved how close it was to everything, (in nicer weather) everything is in walkable distance! The booklet provided with things to do really helped us find places to eat and things to do which I loved! Everything was so comfortable and home-like, we will definitely be back.

Probably something so small I would change, there was no cooking oil and I’m not sure this is something we needed to provide ourselves but it made it a lot harder to cook but we survived.

The perfect home away from home.

The property was very clean and felt like a home away from home. It is in a nice quiet residential area but is still in walking distance to all the attractions that Balloch has to offer. Our little family had a lovely stay there and wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again on our next visit.
