Perfect BnB, lovely host and beautiful facilities

Absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous home away from home. Jenny is a wonderful host who made us feel so welcome. The room was so spacious and comfortable, and the communal areas were lovely. We enjoyed our breakfast! Can’t recommend enough!

A wonderful way to experience Portrush and Northern Ireland.

The property is beautiful upon arriving, outside and inside. Our room was very bright, modern, and inviting. We slept great, enjoyed the sitting room which felt like a room in our home. The delicious was custom-made and delicious. After that, Jen went above and beyond to get us on our way to our next adventure. Without her help, we would have started our day in a negative way. She saved it and us!

The host was great, Jenny is welcoming treats you as a friend, her home is beautiful, spotlessly clean and comfortable, an easy walk in the town, and the location is in easy reach of all the attractions/sites. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful.

Throughly recommend!

Jenny was a fabulous & friendly host - and the breakfast was magnificent! The small hotel was beautifully decorated and the facilities in the bedroom excellent. We were offered use of the sitting room but didn't need to use it as we explored Portrush instead. Plenty of parking off road outside the hotel.

Nothing that would stop us staying there again - but it was a bit of a walk in to town.

An exceptional B & B.

The attention to detail at Lark Hill House is second to none. The gardens and exterior of the building itself are immaculately maintained. The room was spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable. The breakfast was first class, beautifully cooked and served by our host Jenny. An absolutely first class B & B and one we will certainly revisit.

Handy for visit to Giant's Causeway

The breakfast was good and very flexible, with hot options cooked to order. Our room had a slight sea view and lots of space to move around in. The owner was very friendly, the shower and water pressure were good and the bed was really comfortable. As we were visiting the Giant's Csuseway, the location was good for us, being just a short drive away.

Our room faced on to a busy main road, but with ear plugs in (I sleep with these anyway) it wasn't a problem. The rooms aren't numbered, so you have to remember which is yours on a turn right then first on the left sort of way.

WOULD GO BACK

The house is beautiful with a great location between Portrush and Colraine.It is set back from the road so no traffic noise. The room and ensuite bathroom are spacious. Plenty of light in the room. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Started with fruit yogurt and cereals. Hot breakfast is full English made to order.

One small shampoo and shower gel was provided. I would have preferred a large refillable container. There is a large box in the shower that Jenny said is a hot water heater. This made a lot of noise and didn't do a good job of heating the water. I first got hot water then it alternated between hot and cool.

Location was perfect for touring the Antrim Coast Jenny and fam were wonderful for the short time we knew them Jenny, I won’t tell anyone you did a load of much needed laundry! Tyvm!!

Quiet, Comfortable, Great Host - King Bed

Great stay at Larkhill House. First off, a King size bed which is rare in Europe all around. Great location - short walk to downtown Portrush. Exceptionally clean and quiet. Lovely host. Great breakfast cooked on a huge red stove! Jenny is a great host. Charming and lovely, funny and great recommendations for good eats.

While room was good size, the bathroom/shower is tiny but workable.

B&B in Giant's Causeway area

Our host was very friendly and the design of the room was nice and bright. We had a very tasty porridge for breakfast. We really liked the area around Portrush and spent 2 wonderful days there. All in all: a good stay but the price-performance ratio did not fit for us.

The bed was shorter than usual (1.90 m) and thus not so comfortable for us. The bathroom was too tiny. The B&B is situated on a main road, so there was unfortunately no option to sleep with open windows. It also was a little far from Portrush Center. The breakfast was average compared to the other b&b's we had on our trip (e.g. no homebaked scones or bread, just packed pastry).

Wonderful B&B!

We had a great stay at Larkhill House! The room was very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! We also appreciated that gluten-free options were available. Lastly, it was very kind that the owner offered us a ride to the area where there are many restaurants for dinner. Highly recommend!

Good location. Large clean double room with a king size bed. We were able to drop our bags off early on arrival, and leave to collect later on departure. Good hearty breakfast.
