The check in was quick and easy. The lady that greeted me was just lovely. The room was great with everything you would need. Albany Lodge is in a great location, very central. The breakfast was delicious and other guests spoke about how they keep returning due to the lovely owners. Nothing was too much trouble.
In the room I had, the upstairs guest used the facilities a lot of times during the night and I could hear the loud floorboards and also the noisy flush of their toilet. It awoke me several times during the night. I wouldn't let it stop me going back but I would ask for a different room. This would not matter to someone else but I am a very light sleeper. There was nothing else to complain about in Albany Lodge in fact it is a really lovely place. Only I like to be true to my experience, I wouldn't even want to say this.

Very central location
Our bedroom was on the top floor Should have been informed of that Not everyone would be able to make the stairs We were told on arrival A but if a trek to the room but the view would be worth it It wasn’t
