Absolutely fantastic

The property was in a great location right beside quays bar and restaurant and many more not to mention being opposite Curry’s aswell. We stayed with Kieran on two occasions and both times was fabulous. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfy and also rooms are modern the second time we stayed we had a seaside view room with a shared bathroom and the shared bathroom was so clean. I couldn’t recommend Kieran’s guesthouse enough!

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. I just wish time went slower on our stay.

Was so good i booked an extra night.

This property did not offer breakfast but you could use their facilities of kettle toaster microwave and dining area for your own prep. With a fridge in the room its a great option for families on a budget or with fussy eaters and kids with limited food tastes like my 6 yr old.

Perfect for a no frills short break

Location was great, right in the town. Room does what it says on the tin.... Pleasant and clean with no frills. Check out the Dolphin chip shop which is an easy 5 minute walk away, you wont regret it :)

Not the hotels fault, but the street can be a bit noisy especially with boy racers.

Room was lovely, comfy and clean. Kieran was friendly while checking us in and gave some good local recommendations. Location was really close to the beach and cafes/restaurants etc

Excellent location. Clean and comfortable. Microwave, tea, coffee, cutlery in dining area. Can also bring in takeaways and eat in dining area. Breakfast not provided. Carafes of water available to bring to room. Sheets, towels, and toiletries provided. Free street parking or free carpark a few minutes walk away.

It was quiet warm when we stayed so we had to leave the bedroom window open. which could be quite noisy with they emptying of the bar next doors empty bottles being thrown into the bins several times a day.

Weekend stay

It was nice and quiet for the location heard absolutely nothing when we went to bed. The staff were very friendly and well-mannered and helped when needed. The guesthouse was very neat and tidy. It was definitely well looked after. We are a family of five youngest being 3 and the guest house was perfect for us. We will definitely be back again!!!

The room was spotless! The bathroom is very spacious. The bed was comfortable and the location is fantastic. Kieran the owner was lovely, very friendly. This is our 2nd time staying here, will definitely book again.

Just across the road from the station. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. The room was very comfortable - we slept really well. There’s a little breakfast area where you can prepare your own breakfast which suited us.

Exceptional service

I love the kindness I experienced, Mairead went above and beyond in hospitality. Warm welcome and care. She practically prevented us from missing our event due to transportation. I haven't seen such a wonderful person like this in a very long time. This place is more than a guest house but more like a home, very clean environment. I don't just like this place , I love it. Well situated and could see the ocean from my window, easy to locate and stress free. I will book a holiday and visit Portrush and use Causeway Bay in the future with my whole family. Thank you for your love.

Plenary of cafes for breakfast around the area. But there is a lovely sitting area to have a bite to eat if you need to.

Small room for two, not enough space for personal luggage. Donuts okay for a short stay. Comfortable, welcoming staff, super clean and quiet.
