Could have been better for the price.

Nice bar and eating area, staff were quite friendly and very good shower but I've stayed in nicer hotels around the world which were less expensive and better.

No fridge in the room. The room was in an external annex, so we had to walk through the rain to go to and from the room, dirty carpet in the annex and towels the size of handkerchiefs in the bathroom. The bed was too soft.

Great place to stay for one night while visiting nearby attractions.

The rooms were spacious and bathrooms were also nice. They had a large menu to select from for dinner. Great drinks as well. Breakfast was also good.

No air conditioning in the room and when we opened the window, it was near a sewer pipe and there was an unpleasant smell. There is nothing to do in walking distance of the hotel.

Lovely 2 night stay to celebrate my husband’s birthday

Lobby decor was very nice. There was ample free parking & the breakfast was excellent. The staff were very nice & service at breakfast time was amazing. Hotel location very good within walking distance of town centre.

Creaky floorboards in hallway outside our room (108) Rooms not very soundproof. Could hear noisy heavy footed guests returning to their rooms & talking in their rooms. Bathroom a bit dated & would benefit from a freshen up.

No lift , not great when you have a disability Not the hotels fault but a wedding was on the weekend we went and guests very noisy until 4 am in the halls outside bedrooms , other hotels have polite notices up in hallways & lifts advising guests to be quiet after 10pm

Friendly staff Good choices for breakfast

Busy roundabout outside hard to navigate. Bed not comfortable - mattress too soft and pillows not comfortable. Room was very warm and stuffy - fan available but noisy. The price of alcohol has gone up considerably since our last stay.

Pleasant staff, reasonably comfortable rooms and public areas good.

At 1.40 am the bar staff emptied large quantities of glass bottles, very noisily, into containers in the yard and laughed and thought it funny. As a resident, asleep in my bedroom, I can assure the management it was NOT funny. Unfortunately when I left the next morning the lady on reception was busy otherwise I would have taken the matter further. Comments please from Lodge management. I was 220.

The bar area was overflowing with children. With 2 under 10 year old children sitting at the bar and swinging on the stools. It makes you wonder if the manager really wants to keep his license. Not a good look for a respectable establishment.

**“I always stay at the lodge when I’m in Coleraine, and this time I decided to pay a bit extra for a nicer room—it was definitely worth it! The room was lovely, and the staff were fantastic—very helpful and welcoming. I was especially impressed when the head waiter recognized me from about five years ago! The staff truly are the best part of the lodge. I dined there for three nights, and each meal was well-cooked and served piping hot. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely be back!”*

Water bottles and shampoo not replenished when used first night I was there for 3 nights . Room was too warm tried to control the heat but it was on and couldn’t turn it off sleped with window open . The cold tap was warm even running for long time . Decor in main hotel flower wallpaper paper featured , and decor of bright colours was like children’s nursery , think designer tried too hard !! Anyway didn’t detract from me going back and recommended to others .
