Modern and spacious open plan bungalow

Modern and for us a good location near family. Felt very safe in the area. Great little bungalow.

The main bedroom bed wasn’t the comfiest, i did struggle with the firmness of the mattress. But we are aware that mattresses are all different so for some it may be ok. The accommodation was extremely hot, but no fan found at the property, the owner did drop us one off the day after even though it had seen better days, was told a new one had been ordered (but it was better than nothing) the accommodation was clean (surface level) but behind the sofas or under the units were full of dead bugs and spiders. Make up rolled off the sideboard in the bedroom) and I reached to get it I was covered in cob webs. Wanted to hoover before we left but the hoover wasn’t charged and couldn’t find the adapter. We used the dustpan and brush (brush falls apart). Please don’t mistake this for the place being dirty as it’s very clean, just needs a deeper clean, the bedding was beautiful, and towels clean & soft. Lovely big bath, and great shower

Nice location clean and comfortable

Toilet very low and uncomfortable to use. Bath quite high sided and difficult to get in to use shower

Nice quiet location, enclosed garden for the dog and easy parking.

TV was a bit too high up on the wall.

The garden was safe and enclosed for our dog and the bathroom was a decent size

The overall impression the property left on us, was that the minimum was done to ensure the maximum profitability. To expand on the point, the inner door originally the front door could not be shut so it would swing open and block part of the bathroom door. The blinds in the main bedroom were broken and so the room was dark all the time. The garden door was very difficult to lock and two of the garden chairs were so unsafe they could not be used. There was no BBQ and there were no instructions left to show how to use any of the kitchen/electrical equipment. The TV was set so high on the wall you ended up with a cricked neck if you watched it. The batteries ran out in the carbon monoxide tester (there were spares), the batteries ran out in the fire alarm, there were no spares. Altogether a very disappointing experience, we would have had better facilities and value if we had gone to a budget hotel.
