A small and affordable villa looking at the ocean... what could go wrong!?

Seaside was so nice. I could look out from the bed to a view of the water. Very nice. My only complaint, and it's NO BIG DEAL, was that there was only one coffee packet and one sugar packet. hahaha I love coffee, but I could have just brought my own! Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay thoroughly and will be back.

Superb

Location of the property was superb! Lovely cosy property within steps of the beach. Parking was easy on the street outside. Walking distance to a lovely Italian restaurant and the pier which has a great bar/restaurant.

Very nice stay and would visit again

Very clean, small but comfortable bed and good facilities. Great location right near the beach.

Only gripes were that the bed was against the wall on one side, and there is no net curtain on the front door to give privacy from passers by.

Comfortable, relaxing and in a great location with lovely sea view

The studio apartment has an amazing view of the promenade and the sea , we enjoyed hearing the waves from our room. It was comfortable and we had everything we needed. A previous review noted that the shower was difficult to use , this must have been replaced as the shower couldn't be easier and more obvious to use . Most apartments don't provide towels so this was an additional bonus. We genuinely would have liked our stay to be longer and highly recommend The seaview Studio.

Cosy escape by the seaside

We spent a lovely 3 nights in the studio and could have stayed longer. It's cosy, comfortable, stylish and best of all within about 10 steps of the sea! Location is just amazing, with loads of pubs & cafés nearby. Exactly the peace and quiet we needed, I can't wait to come back soon.

Great little property on the seafront. Just needs a few simple upgrades.

The shower was good. The location was decent.

The furniture was very worn and could do with upgrading. The bedding was poor quality and the pillows were flat with no pillow protectors. Could do with some blinds against the patio doors as no privacy at all with the curtains open.

Sanctuary by the Sea

The location was fantastic; a short walk away from shops and eateries - Alba Chiara is amazing - and the beach is opposite the studio. We loved the view, the compact accommodation, and the quiet; It was lovely to have breakfast and coffee outside whilst watching the world go by and looking at the sea. The accommodation is small but is a clever use of space and has everything you need but if you're not sure, ask Mike the host who will reply promptly. It has a comfortable bed, a good shower, lots of storage and a tv - the essentials for a couple of nights away. The area was quiet and the studio itself - it says it is soundproof, and it definitely is! We couldn't hear anything from the main house and once the patio doors were shut, you couldn't hear anything from inside or out! We didn't use 6 the small bottles of shampoo along with a couple of chocolates is a lovely touch. Also, the coffee sachets and teabags would be useful if you went without supplies. The doors are your only ventilation, but the fan was wonderful on a hot night once the doors were shut for bedtime. The chairs and table are very portable, so put the table beside the bed for a nightstand and put the lamp on it if you want softer lighting. The bed is up against the wall, but this can be seen from the photos, so simply don't book it if you can't be bothered to shimmy across the bed! Oh yes, there is a hairdryer, and though there are no mirrors in the bathroom, there are two good size ones in the main room.

We have given this property top marks because it had everything for us and things we noticed would have been useful did not stop us being comfortable or ruin our time at Sea View: You may want to take a pillow if you prefer to have your head quite high. If you plan to have a wet shave then a travel mirror would be good to use in the bathroom. A bath mat or spare towel to put on the floor for when you get out of the shower. I had no problems with it but be aware there is no voile or frosting over the glass of the doors, so neighbours and passersby may get a glimpse of you. Or be sensible and turn on the light and keep the curtains drawn😆

this is are second year at sea view studio we love it and we will continue to book it can’t wait to book it for next year and it’s lovely and clean 🏡🏠🏚️🏘️

The same as last year my Daughter who is disabled doesn’t like the fact that there isn’t a net curtain up against the patio doors 🏠🏡🏘️🏚️

Nice stay, but a couple of concerns.

Great location. A lot of thought has gone into this property to offer everything a couple will need. The kitchen was well appointed. There is plenty of wardrobe and draw space. Smart TV and good WiFi.

The space had a dampness in the air. This was probably a result of the absence of open windows and good ventilation. The only way to add ventilation was to have the main door open, which is not possible when out during the day or at night. We thought the space was a little limited in space, and to move around and pass each other was difficult. This was not a serious complaint but worthy of note.

nothing, l reported the dirt and grime to the owner who promised me a refund as l moved out and into alternative accommodation

the place was filthy, the towels were smelling of damp and the dish towel wet and smelly. the bedding was of very poor quality. outside you had to scramble passed a scrap car and scooter to get in. this totally spoilt any view

Great location

Very uncomfortable smelly bed. Worn & tired paintwork on kitchen cupboards. Mold near doorway & generally grubby. Very small & compact for the price. Couldn't shut the toilet door when on the loo due to space issue.

Cosy, Clean, Excellent and Beachfront

If you want a cosy retreat right on the beachfront this is the place for you. Excellent facilities, clean with a very comfy bed. I cannot recommend Sea View Studio enough. The host was extremely helpful, I left my jacket in the wardrobe (didn't realise until he contacted me) and he couldn't be more helpful. I will definitely be returning if I'm working in the area again, I block booked 3 more week after my first stay.

A relaxing and enjoyable stay in a lovely location.

I had stayed here before and enjoyed my stay both times. The owner is friendly and accommodating. It is an excellent location if you want to be near the beach. I have a mobility issue and unable to access the town because of the very steep hill but the studio is close to some good restaurants, cafes and there is a small grocery shop which sells a few basics. I knew this when i booked. It is an ideal place for the solo traveller or a couple but not suitable for children because of its size.

The kitchen is adequately equipped but I thought there should have been a hairdryer. Toiletries were limited to 2 tiny bottles of shampoo and a bottle of hand wash in the sink. I would have expected shower gel and conditioner to be provided. There was adequate tea and coffee but no milk sachets.

•Location, location, location was perfect - sea, good and various restaurants and the town in easy walking distance. •Mattress was so comfortable! •Shower room and kitchen smart, fresh and had everything I needed for the weekend. •Doors open to sit outside for morning cup of tea looking at the sea! •Free parking nearby as fine •Toiletries and chocs a nice touch!

•No beside or near bed wall-lights. •Plump pillows please •Couldn’t find Freeview on television - Written tv instructions perhaps? •Nowhere to hang wet outdoor clothes. (Several days of heavy rain led to nothing drying out.) •Brought own hairdryer but feel other guests would expect one.

Feeling very refreshed and had an enjoyable night, couple of days away.

Perfect location for the gardens, pier and beach front restaurants. On the beach. A very small but cosy and comfortable studio room with everything needed for a night or two away. Prompt responses from Mike with any queries Lack of parking at accomodation directly at accomodation but was very easy to park right by and some of which was free. Mike's information was spot on.

Fantastic location overlooking the sea 2 minute walk from Felixstowe peer and 5 minutes to the high street. Was able to sit on the chairs provided to enjoy a cup of tea with the great view.

Bed comfortable, location excellent .Good facilities.

I wasn't quite warm enough but that may have been my own inability to adjust the heating.An extra blanket would have been useful.It was extremely cold weather during my stay so normally it would have been fine.
