The location of the hotel is perfect, on a small hill, surrounded by greenery, the staff is very kind, the room is clean and bright, minibar available, the delicious breakfast can be served inside or outside, in the hotel's garden which is very cozy.

Pleasant stay , excellent service and kind assistance

choice, quality , freshness of breakfast buffet kindness, hospitaly and wish to assist by hotel management/reception

what we didnit know was that Stolberg has been flooded in a tragic way so that what should be a shopping centre street is now a ghost town ( disaster in 2020/21 ) with finance support by EU in full renovation Of course this has nothing to do with the quality and location of the hotel and the historic beauty of Stolberg Burg and churches .

An excellent room, very helpful staff, and an above average complete breakfast.

Great location for all my needs (museums, historical sites). Staff friendly and very helpful. Room was clean, quiet, strong Wi-Fi signal and TV had abundant channels. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Hotel provided a secure space to keep my bike. I highly recommend Romantik Parkhotel.

Plenty of parking (albeit on a slope). Breakfast was good. Genuinely near to town, although steep uphill walk back so you need to be fit.

The room decor was tired and dated. The hotel was expensive for what it was. To make matters worse, there seemed to be an attitude of everything costing extra. For example, there was a bottle of mineral water and 2 glasses in the room, which looked good until we spotted the accompanying notice saying the cost was 3 Euros. Either provide the mineral water free or don't put it in the room at all. Reception staff gave the impression they didn't care. When booking in, we were told about using our key to get in after the front door shut, which in itself is perfectly normal. I then asked what time the door shut, which was answered by a shrug of the shoulders, which isn't very helpful. When checking out, the receptionist was more interested in whether we had had anything from the minibar than whether we had had a pleasant stay. The reception was also unattended at times which is offputting. The only opening window was the door on to the balcony, which wasn't great - you either had to have the door open or sleep with no ventilation. The hotel restaurant wasn't open for dinner. It was very difficult to find anywhere to eat in town - there are basically only 2 restaurants. One was fully booked, the other squeezed us in. There is nothing to do in Stolberg. This is not the hotel's fault, the town (as we found out) was flooded a year or two ago and was completely devastated. So nothing is open. As noted above, this made it very difficult to get anything to eat.

Actually everything was perfect. The cleaniness was exceptional, the breakfast was amazing, the location is quiet and nice, the staff is very friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Staff very professional and friendly. Good breakfast. Fascinating little town with loads of history. Nice to have the balcony to sit and enjoy the sun. Good parking. It’s good to be a fan of Romantik hotels - without their book/ website I would never have found this place. I have never been disappointed with a Romantik hotel. All have really good standards.

Fabulous location very quiet and beautiful garden. Super comfy beds and a great selection for breakfast. Also a mention to the staff who were great.

There was no aircon which didnt bother us but for some people this could be an issue.

Relaxing place. Great value for the price.

The hotel environment is quiet and relaxing, you can listen to the birds and enjoy the vegetation around the room. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was very good too. Great value for the price. I would definitely stay again in this place.

This was not a big deal, but I would have appreciated air conditioning. It was fresh during the night, but we had to make the decision of leaving the window open but letting the light coming in early, or closing the wooden blinds and having a warmer room.

Well 4* hotel and no minibar? and room was a bit "gloomy" into the garden in shadow, and really cold room, despite it was heating working, but the valve was closed (not very accessible)

A really nice hotel in a quite area.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and the safety procedures in place due to corona were very professionally handled and did not interfere with our stay.

Very clean, very good location. Staff very professional. We were travelling with small dog. Upon our arrival there were bowls for dog food and water prepared in the room. Very happy for this thought. Very good breakfast. We were only for one night stop over so can’t comment on facilities. Felt very welcomed and would happily stay again.

For 4 star hotel would expect complimentary bottle of water and not being charged 4,5 Eur for a bottle. Clearer signage for parking would be helpful

schon lange so kein ausgezeichnetes Frühstück mehr genossen - da hat nichts gefehlt - von der Präsentation bis zur Geschmacksauswahl bis zum Personal - einfach hervorragend - lediglich die Parksituation am Berg ist nicht zu empfehlen

Parksituation und fehlende Gastronomie sind etwas abschwächend im Urteil - es ist nicht einfach für ältere Hotelgäste am Abend in die Stadt zu fahren um ein Restaurant zu finden

Angenehmes Wochenende!

Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, äußerst vielfältig und lecker, wie wir es uns von einem 4 Sterne Haus wünschen. Das Foyer bietet einen gemütlichen Aufenthaltsraum, um auch abends noch etwas zu tringen oder Karten zu spielen. Die Matratzen waren angenehm und für uns genau richtig. Das Personal ist freundlich und stets ansprechbar.

Die Möblierung des Zimmers und die Ausstattung des Badezimmers sind schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und dürften überwiegend aus den 90er Jahren stammen. Man muss allerdings festhalten, dass nichts beschädigt war. Für den Wohlfühfaktor wäre eine Sanierung im Bad allerdings viel wert.

Das Frühstück war sehr reichlich, das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, die Betten waren eine wucht,man wollte am liebsten garnicht mehr austehen.
