Even though the room had a funny smell it was a pleasant stay

Nice location and exactly what we needed for 2 days

Our room had a funny smell which was a bit unpleasant and the bed and pillows were a bit soft for our liking. It also took a while for us to check in, due to our reservation not being able to be found at first.

Very pleasant

A good, budget hotel, that we stopped at for two nights to break up a long trip across Europe. The owner greeted us and asked that we give him a few minutes to prepare the room,, which was not unreasonable, as we had arrived earlier than expected. The room was small but most acceptable as it was only a couple of nights to overnight and a chance to do a bit of sightseeing in nearby Aachen.

Not much really. If you want silver service, pay the extra and go to an expensive hotel. That is not what this one is about. It is about value for money, and it delivers here.

The hotel owners were amazing, incredibly helpful and friendly. Comfortable room and tasty breakfasts. The location is ideal for exploring the town and area.

The first night was disturbed by noisy guests arriving late at night. The owners dealt with it well.

Good value for money and convenient for onward travel in either direction

Location is good, just a couple of minutes from the A4 motorway. Room is a good size and themed as Greek, which is quite fun. The bed was comfy and pillows good (a pet hate of mine when travelling). The Greek restaurant is adjoined to the hotel and also serves as the breakfast room. Excellent for a lay-over when heading to or from Germany from the UK.

Nothing much comes to mind, other than the parking was a little challenging when we visited but that was probably due to the road being closed just up from the hotel meaning local residents were parking wherever they could find a space.

top floor no noises from the street. but there was no curtain at the window. they helped to put something in front after I asked, In summertime it wouldnt be enough. Shower was very nice. Hotel easy to find and very nice meal at restaurant. But could notice not daily business for people who were there when we were at the hotel.

assume that when everyone back from holiday service is more quick. we had to wait for food a little too long in the evening and for the bill a little too long in the morning

A pleasant interlude on my long drive to the UK.

I have stayed at this hotel on five previous occasions and have always found the staff friendly and the facilities modern and very comfortable. It is situated near Aachen and the German Border and I find it perfectly located as a stopover on my trips to UK. The breakfast is excellent, a perfect start to the day!!!

Top familiebedrijf/verblijf

Het ontbijt betrof een lopend buffet met voldoende keuze. De locatie ligt op 2 min. lopen van een bushalte waardoor je binnen 30 min. in Aken bent. De kamers waren ruim en goede hygiene.

Door familie omstandigheden konden wij geen gebruik maken van het restaurant, maar het centrum was nabij en daar bleek voldoende eetgelegenheden te zijn

Reception sehr wortkarg, Nach den Frühstückszeiten muss man nachfragen. Ausschlafen Fehlanzeige, früh steht die Putzfrau in der Tür. Nachdem ich nach einer "bitte nicht stören" Karte gefragt hatte, war morgens Ruhe. Nachts war es sehr laut, vom Straßenverkehr. Fernseher hat nicht funktioniert. Dusche war ne Katastrophe. Dann bekomme ich die Nachricht von booking das mein Zimmer storniert wurde, weil ich nicht angereist bin. Naja alles sehr merkwürdig.

Die Lage war gut, das Frühstück war auch sehr gut.

Das an der Rezeption geraucht wurde und der Rauch bis in die Zimmer noch oben zog. Das war nicht so angenehm für uns.

Für eine Nacht ganz ok.

Das Hotel befand sich ziemlich Ortsnah zum Blaustein-See. So hatten wir eine kurze Taxifahrt zum übernachten.

Es war ziemlich warm in den Zimmern, da diese nicht über eine Klimatisierung verfügten. Das Hotel an sich ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und schreit hier und da nach einer Renovierung.

Preiswerte Beherbergungsstätte abseits des Trubels des Touristenmagneten Aachen

Kleines Hotel in ruhiger Lage mit netten Gastgebern am Rande der Stadt Eschweiler. Mit den Öffis kann man bequem Aachen bzw. Köln erreichen. Bushaltestelle gleich um die Ecke. Bahnstation auch nicht weit. Das preiswerte Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Großes Zimmer, funktionnel eingerichtet.

Es wird leider stark geraucht im Rezeptionbereich, und der Rauch dringt durch die Türspalte, wenn das Zimmer direkt am Treppenhaus liegt. Leider wurde der Restaurantbetrieb aufgegeben (Fans der griechiechischen Küche!) und man muss ziemlich weit laufen, um eine Gaststätte im Zentrum zu finden.

Er was geen ontbijt, alle aangeboden faciliteiten waren er niet, ook geen restaurant, stond wel op de site

Wer stört beim Mittagsschlaf??

Die Lage des Hotels direkt an der Hauptstraße ist von Vorteil.

Ein miesgelaunter älterer Herr, der den Gast spüren lässt, dass er beim Mittagsschlaf gestört wurde, ist nicht das, was man unter gutem Hotelpersonal versteht. Ein Problem beim Zimmer hat er zwar gelöst, aber nur unter Protest und wiederholten Hinweisen auf seinen gestörten Mittagsschlaf.

Het restaurant is niet meer geopend en als je zonder auto bent dan is het lastig om een restaurant dichtbij te vinden. Het dichtbijgelegen centrum is toch wel 20-30 minuten lopen.

Eigentlich gutes Potential aber ich werde wohl beim nächsten Mal ein anderes Hotel suchen

Beruflich hatte ich in der Gegend zu tun, Lage war gut.

Rauch stieg ins Zimmer vom Rauchen hoch. Chef war selbst u a. der Raucher und hatte kein Verständnis dafür das es mich extrem gestört hat- nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen bekam ich ein anderes Zimmer- da ging es dann einigermaßen. Außerdem war das Restaurant geschlossen- wohl schon seit längerem- ich habe extra vorher noch auf Homepage geschaut- da gab es keinen Hinweis. Ich hatte das Hotel deshalb u a auch gebucht. Sehr enttäuschend.
