Practical, no frills, efficient stopover en route to ferries to UK

Convenient stopover en route to Caen ferry. This is a practical, no frills place - don’t expect any extras. But very clean and efficient. Car park is secure which is useful.

Didn’t expect to have to leave deposit in case we didn’t leave it immaculate! Very strict requirements about how apartment should be left. Felt a bit unfriendly!

Smelly apartment

Location

We found the reception staff to be rude and not very helpful. We had a parking space booked, but on arrival, we were told that we didn't have a space. My husband was able to provide them with proof of booking. We found the whole process very uncomfortable. When we went to the room, it had a strange dirty smell, we called the cleaners to check it out, they sprayed air freshener to hide the smell. There was a very strong smell of sewerage in the shower area it was disgusting. We had to keep running the showers every few hours to get rid of the smell. We were unable to eat in the apartment because of it. The sewerage pipe for the upstairs apartments ran down through our apartment, which kept us awake. When anyone used toilets, showers, etc.. we heard it in our apartment. We have stayed here before, but not in this exact apartment, and we never had an issue. This complaint should be taken seriously, and this matter dealt with swiftly. This is unacceptable for the cost of a stay on this premises.

its location was OK. Not well marked and thus difficult to find

no AC and no fans. the manager found us one fan and a second but the second was a space heater. incredibly hot and stuffy. No extra pillows. underneath bed was filthy

Proximity of city center. Very convenient and great value for money. Was even cheaper than the announced price! The little balcony was great

A good value city centre apartment

A well equipped apartment in a good location with secure parking as an option. We had a small and quiet garden, with a table and chairs which was a bonus.

The bed wasn’t as comfortable as we hoped and the space in the bedroom was a bit tight.

We appreciated the free parking, very good location a few min from the city center, there is a covered pool (though we didn't use it as we came when it was a bit cold and no time to enjoy it.

The bed from the apartment 2 is not comfortable, we could fill the "springs" (?) and compared to the apartment in Vannes that was super comfortable, we saw the difference.

The sofa was really squeaking. There was no soap (for hand washing) in the bathroom. There was a kitchen, but without plates and there was only one cup. Overall, the experience was ok (considering also the price and the fact that the appart-hotel is close to the city centre), but there are little things that can be improved.

L’accueil partagé avec l’hôtel Best Western avec un manque d’informations pour aller de notre appartement à la salle des petits dejeuners par exemple, pas de petit lave vaisselle L’absence le mercredi matin au petit déjeuner au tarif de 17euros à 9h15 de toutes boissons à base de café, de petites crêpes, de madeleines...pas de présence de personnel pour remédier aux manques

Correspond à nos attentes. L’ensemble de l’appartement est très spacieux même à 4 (2 enfants 2 adultes). Les lits sont confortables. Situé à 2 pas du centre historique. Parking couvert avec ascenseur au pied des chambres. Je recommande.

La taille de l'appartement et des chambres , le confort des lits et l'espace dans la salle de bain. Le sèche serviettes, la double vasque dan la salle de bain .

Ce qui peut être amélioré c'est le confort de canapé et de la documentation sur la ville dans le logement. Le stationnement est soit payant ou difficile à proximité .

Appartement très bien équipé et fonctionnel. Tout est conforme à la description.

Petit bémol dû à une insonorisation moyenne entre les différents niveaux d'étages et surtout aux voisins. Bruits de pas, déplacement de meubles pendant plus d'une heure à 4 heures du matin.
