Whilst an unusual arrangement - an rental apartment as part of an old people's living complex, this worked extremely well. The apartment was large, well-equipped and very comfortable. It also had the bonus of on-site parking (no charge). The swimming pool, although quite small, was most welcome and there were other facilities we could have used, but chose not to.
It would have been helpful to have air conditioning as we stayed here during the worst of the heatwave. However, even without it, the apartment was a lot cooler than the ambient temperature outside and we were able to cool it down at night.
