San Barnaba on the Canal

Great location, facilities and communication from the hosts. You can hear the boats/people passing but we really liked where the windows looked out onto the canal.

Not a dislike just a disclaimer - the bedroom and bathroom part is lofted above the main sitting/dining area so the ceiling is much shorter. I am 160cm and could only just stand up. By no means a negative of the property, we liked how it made the sleeping area more snug! Just to keep in mind for those above 5’3.

Superb location. 1 min walk to Ferry station (including ferry stop to n from airport). Accommodation spotlessly clean. Well equipped. Loved my stay here.

I have no complaints but possibly wouldn't suit tall people due to restricted head height in bedroom & bathroom.

Perfect location very close to the vaporetto. Lots of restaurants nearby… easy to walk to major locations but outside the very busy San Marco area. More authentic feel. We were able to leave our bags prior to check in. Check in and out were easy

WiFi was advertised but did not work the entire time even after reporting issue. No tv but not that big of a deal except there was no WiFi either. Bed and bathroom not full height. Ceilings are about 5’7, my husband and I are 5’10 and 6 ft respectively. We were made aware of height after we booked but made it work, there is a shower chair and we just dressed downstairs. So not a deal breaker. Lack of instructions from host on some issues

Good location. A lot of restaurants around. A lot quieter to the rest of Venice which we liked

The bathroom and bedroom was awfully small (height). My partner (6 foot) wasn’t able to stand in the bedroom or bathroom, neither myself without hitting my head. There was a shower stool to use, which my partner took advantage of as there was no other way to shower in the small area. To which the shower stool collapsed underneath him (he’s not a heavy man). He then had to shower on his knees the rest of the stay (thankfully it was 2 nights). There was no toilet paper for us to use while there (he was grateful for the bidet, myself, was grateful for closer cafes). The AC made a loud noise the whole night and kept the bottom half of the house cold, except the bedroom
