CA' ROMANTICA -Spacious apartment near Accademia

Wyjątkowy wystrój apartamentu, klimatyczny i przestronny, zaopatrzony we wszystko co potrzebne, duży plus za dodatkowy pokój z łazienką na piętrze. Duży wybór książek, poczęstunek i schłodzona woda w lodówce to miły gest od gospodarza. Bardzo dobry kontakt z gospodarzem, od razu odpisuje i dopytuje czy wszystko jest w porządku. Doskonała lokalizacja, cicho jak na centrum Wenecji. Apartament znajduje się na poddaszu, ale dzięki wentylatorom i klimatyzatorowi udało się wytrzymać upał panujący na zewnątrz.

Location is amazing in Dorsoduro neighborhood. 2 vaporetto stations super close and as well the boat station that takes you to the airport. Behind the Academia, stores close by and everything walking distance. As well amazing and responsive host.

If you have too much luggage there is no elevator

*I contacted the host several times the week prior to arriving, both through the booking app and the email address that was given when booked. There was never a response until I finally called the day before I arrived. Mind you, they didn't actually answer, but apparently seeing the call come through encouraged the host to answer me digitally. To get into the apartment, I was told to message them, and I would be buzzed in. I then needed to go upstairs, and I had a code to open a lock box to access the key. Upon arrival, the message was sent with no response for 5+ minutes; I called, and magically, I was buzzed in. *The apartment did not have AC; no big deal, I know it's Europe - BUT who knows when the windows had last been open, so the place was hot and stuffy. The first night there was a storm, so windows had to be closed - super hot, and the shutters on the side of the apartment banged the whole night because they were broken. I know repairs in Venice can be tricky, but there is no reason not to have functional shutters if the windows have to be used. Plus, with the windows up, the rest stayed, and bugs became an issue. I got covered in bites *Upon arrival, the host told me they would stop by to collect the tourist tax and to reach out if I had questions or needed advice. I messaged to ask about a gondola rental and the best way to return to the airport - they NEVER responded the rest of the trip. They also never showed up to collect the money - ok, fine - but they never even said the total amount or where to leave it in the apartment. So on check-out day we just left. *Within a few hours of leaving, the host magically got better at communicating and wanted the tourist tax money. They said the original booking email said to just leave it; mind you, that email was sent in September, and this stay happened in June, plus the communication when we arrived said they would stop by. Either way, I was able to send the money digitally so they got paid.
