We traveled as a couple. I was worried about hauling luggage across Venice’s cobblestones and over bridges, but we were spared that as this apartment was 2 minutes away from San Samuele dock an all flat path. Easy to get to and from Piazzale Roma via Vanporetto. We stayed 4 nights. The apartment was very spacious, clean w/ all the amenities of towels, beddings, kitchenette, iron, soaps, etc. I was especially excited about the laundry washer (no dryer), but we just hung clothes over plastic chairs and they dried. Great restaurants around the corner in Campo Santo Stefano, our fav was Beccafico Guna Restaurant. Matteo was a gracious and attentive host with an engaging personality. We felt safe and welcome. We highly recommend Ca’Sansovino.
