San Gervasio Apartment

Clean tidy and conveniently located 50m from Zattere water taxi. Supermarket, restaurants and ice cream within 5min walk. Quiet and easy to find. Lovely host, messaged to check everything was okay daily.

Great location! So close to the Vaporetto stop. Like 2 min. Also GianFranco was great with communicating. Beds were very comfortable. AC in bedrooms and kitchen. Very clean and in a very quiet area.

The area is not for tall or large people. We had two tall boys in my family and one of them hit their head on the ceiling pretty hard going to the restroom downstairs. So tall people may have some issues. Also the downstairs bathroom that has the full shower is quite small (though great shower head!) and it’s very uncomfortable and inconvenient to get out of that shower and to actually shower. Like less than 4-6 inches from the exit to the shower is a toilet. We managed but if you have any larger people on your party it will be difficult. Also no place to put your soap. We had to leave ours on the floor of the shower. There is a bathroom upstairs but it only has a tub with a movable shower head but not a standing shower.

The house is lovely, with such character and very peaceful! Its location makes it even more of a perfect find! Has all amenities you would need, from kitchen equipment, to washing machine, drier etc. In summer, it’s very ideal, because it gets little direct sun, so it stays cool. The staff is very lovely! Gianfranco checked us in, explained everything to us, and made sure to stay in touch for anything that could come up! We would definitely visit again when in Venice!

Lovely apartment in a great location. Very helpful video instructions from host. Very close to public transport which made arriving/departing so easy. Lovely quiet part of the city with friendly restaurants and bars within easy reach. 10/10!
