Nice owner & location very dusty with mold in ceiling we had to leave early as I couldn’t sleep at night

- Owner was very respectful & Helpful - location was nice and with 7 min walking in any direction you will end up in a place u will like (e.g restaurants)

- Aprt was a bit colder than we could handle even though heater was on (we needed to wear heavy clothes inside and sleep with it) - Apartment as a whole was very very dusty (+some mold in ceiling of the bathroom) this made it very difficult for me to breath and sleep so I had to book out and leave the apartment (we booked 3 nights but I only slept 1 and the second night I stayed awake whole night until dawn to find new hotel) I kept sneezing, my eyes were really itchy the whole night. I told the owner about it and he took it well while there’s no refund (just nature of this business at the end which I understand) he did offer a discount next time (if we decided to go back) Truly the dust and not being able to sleep in it was the reason why I can’t recommend it to anyone but if it was clean I can easily give it 7.5 or even 8 /10 (2 points cuz it’s cold but mind u we came in December would prefer if there’s a bit more insulation but I guess it’s an old apartment maybe why)

We enjoyed staying in the heart of the old district with its narrow alleys.

It was an apartment, so breakfast was not included, but it has a kitchen. We liked that it was located in the same block as the pier where the water taxi dropped us off.

Venice has a garbage collector that knocks on the door every morning. I had to set my alarm early to be ready for him, and then he arrived late. I have great trouble sleeping while traveling, so I would have liked to have been able to sleep later in the morning.

There is black mould on the roof of the shower and inside the shower. It is quite unsafe to host guests in a place that has black mould due to potential health implications.

Good location but very dirty with tired decor (see pics)

The apartment is cosy and characterful and is conveniently located a very short distance from Sansamuele water bus stop. The neighbourhood is relatively quiet but close to several restaurants and a short walk from bustling Accademia and the bridge.

I would class it as basic.. it could be so much more if it were updated and a little time and money spent on it. Everything has seen better days.. the bedsheets are thin and the pillows dreadful.. flat, hard and stained. They appear very old as does everything else in the apartment. We didn’t use the kitchen or stove but be aware that the spark button on the stove doesn’t work and you have to light the gas with matches (provided) As far as cleanliness goes I’m sorry but it was DIRTY. The floors needed a good wash and the skirting boards were sticky with dust. All the corners have ingrained dirt and grime. The shower needs a deep clean and the silicon is black with mould and needs replacing asap. The grouting was also mouldy and there was dirt and pink mould in all the corners inside and out. There’s a pull thing in the shower that’s brown with dirt. The toilet however was clean as was the bathroom sink. I do feel we could have been left more than half a roll of cheap toilet roll for 2 people for 2 days though. The bed is an uncomfortable old fashioned spring mattress and the actual mattresses are absolutely disgusting.. covered in dubious old stains.. honestly they are truly awful (see pics). The futon in the living room is very uncomfortable but not as dirty as the bed. There’s no air con so it was very stuffy even though it wasn’t particularly hot when we stayed. There is a relatively new fan in the bedroom but it too is covered in dust which it would just spread it around the room if you switched it on. The entire place is very tired and dirty and it’s a shame as it could be really lovely with a little effort. I sense some small improvements have been made in deference to previous poor feedback (the towels were ok for instance) but it’s not enough. It needs a thorough deep clean, a new sofa and a new mattress at the very least and decent bed linen and pillows.

Great location. Handy to have a kitchen.

Abusive host. Sent very rude messages after the stay and accused me of breaking the shower door handle, which she said she was going to fine me for. It was already broken along with the fan and a glass in the cupboard, so I wouldn't be surprised if it is a common occurrence for her to blame her customers. I have complained to Booking.com and sent an official complaint. Other issues: The room was grimy, not cleaned well with a layer of grime over the shower and dishes etc in cupboards. Moqsuitos prevalent so make sure to bring your own spray/treatment as there is none available.

if you want to experience the life in a cave, this is the best place! I love cold, but here overnight we needed to use all the 8 woolen blankets found in the place! thank God we had those!

The location. The space.

The heating in the kitchen and living room is not working. I tried to contact them to told them, this is Venice in January, so it is quite cold. I texted them through booking, also through WhatsApp and I called them. No answer. They replied to my text 50 minutes later advising me to fiddle the radiators, which we did with no difference. I asked them to provide maybe a portable heater for the night. The answer was "Unfortunately today is saturday and nobody can come, sorry." So we were 14 degrees in the living room last night.

Ideal location to explore Venice!

A perfect little apartment in an old Venetian house close to two Vaporetto stops, Accademia bridge and San Marco, without souvenir stalls or noise! Not too hot in the middle of summer thanks to the thick walls and small windows. Really enjoyed our stay! Tip about arrival: Vaporetto 2 stops directly at San Samuele but doesn't run early/late, simply take Vaporetto 1 to Sant Angelo close by and make sure you know the address and way, as GPS misled us by about 30 metres into the wrong alley.

We forgot to bring our own shampoo (none provided).

Very shocking stay.

There was a living room and TV. My baby enjoyed it.

The location was very tough to find at night. I reached at midnight. I missed the location first. It too cold at night. My baby was crying due to cold. Then I phoned the property owner to get the right location. The lady was very annoyed and did not respond well me. I was schocked. She was very harsh and rude. Moreover, She took 8 euros as city tax whereas another hotel took less money from the guests so far I could know.

Someone took my jacket.

The location.

We stayed for two nights in this appartment. My girlfriend forget her yellow jacket inside the closet. When we called the owner of the appartment he said that the housekeeper didnt find anything. It feels like they just took it and said to us that they never found it. Feels really bad.

Pleasant

The location was OK, close to Academia, but a bit far from the train station. On the first day, the room was very cold as the heating was not on, but the Nives was helpful by coming in the next day when I informed him and started the heaters. He responded in a few hours to messages.

Nives was not available on phone. I had to contact him through booking.com messages only. The apartment listed having a washing machine, but it was not working and when I opened the machine door, the soapy water from the machine flooded the kitchen and I had to mop the entire kitchen. The main window in the room did not have curtains.

Functional budget apartment close to all the main sights in Venice

Location,.. in San Marco 10 minutes from St Marks Square and 7 minutes from the Rialto Bridge. Cost,.. 3 nights for what most hotels cost for one! It’s a functional, clean, comfortable basic apartment, the bed was good! Safe and secure and a good base to enjoy Venice. Easy to book in.

TV didn’t work,.. but then again I don’t speak Italian well enough to enjoy Italian TV. One roll of loo roll,,, there were two of us for three days,.. so I bought more,.. Not all the lights worked. Plug sockets a bit dodgy in places.

Bien pour l’emplacement et un à petit budget.

J’ai bcp aimé l’emplacement et le calme loin des rues bondées de touristes. j’ai apprécié de pouvoir rester jusqu’à midi le dernier jour.

L’appartement est très sombre, le confort est sommaire, les prises de courant non conformes et dangereuses pour certaines.Nous avons évoqué le sujet par mail avec la propriétaire qui nous a dit que tout était ok, je joins 2 photos. Ce n’est pas cher nous en avons eu pour notre argent comme dit le dicton français.

He estado los ultimos 4 dias en este apartamento y da literalmente asco. No entiendo esas reseñas tan buenas. Son erróneas Todos los utensilios de cocina y cajones sucios El baño con moho negro en las juntas de los azulejos Habia un solo armario antiguo lleno de 6 o 7 mantas sucias y con mal olor y q Imposibilitaba poder guardar nada. La anfitriona responde a los dos dias y no se entera de nada.

Apartamento viejo y sucio, con buena ubicación

La ubicación al lado de la parada de vaporetto San Samuele.

El apartamento huele a humedad y todos los enseres que hay en ella. Toda la vajilla y sartenes estaban sucias y no las utilizamos. Bayetas usadas y sucias. Muchos cojines con manchas. En la cama se clavan los muelles del somier. En el baño el enchufe estaba pegado con cinta aislante.

La neteja. Deixa molt que desitjar. Especialment la dutxa, negre de la humitat....hi ha productes específics per fet-ho net. Els mobles de la cuina i els utensilis brutejaven!
