Comfort Guest Rooms

My family really liked this hotel. Well located; within about 5-6 minutes from the bus station on foot. It was also clean and comfortable. The wifi was fast and reliable.

We never saw anyone at the counter during our entire stay. That was a bit weird. We did not have a reason to ask them about anything but it would have been nice to see someone and say hello.

Location close to town centre with no issues parking. Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Modern. Fridge provided. Air conditioning.

Keypad for entry system wasn't immediately obvious. Better instructions on how to get pad visible would be helpful. Bathroom fan not effective which meant room was wet for long periods, possibly why mould on grouting. Kettle, cups and saucers provided but no spoons. A small amount of tea, coffee and sugar would be useful which guests could add to if needed. Bin needed emptying daily. Lots of rubbish bags unsightly and inconvenient. Toilet rolls not replenished daily so had to purchase extra. Although air conditioning was working we seemed to have trouble getting cooler temperature when required. Perhaps just needs copy of instructions.

No staff had a grasp of English. Allocated parking was taken by somebody else on Day 2

The location was nice.

The room smelled like cigarettes; the walls are paper thin, so when the other guests would come in in the middle of the night or check out early in the morning, it sounded like they were doing so in our room; the room itself was run down - there was damage to the walls, the fridge wasn’t working and things were generally falling apart. Lastly, there was a misunderstanding about the rooms on behalf of the staff that wasn’t handled very well.
