Hotel Diamond

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the main pedestrian square with a good choice of cafes and restaurants, and within walking distance of the town's museums and galleries. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful too. The room was clean and comfortable and had a real suntrap of a balcony.

The road outside was a bit busier than expected so we had to sleep with the windows and balcony door closed and the air con on (not a problem in itself but I prefer sleeping without air con). Otherwise everything was great.

Early check in allowed . Limited parking available under hotel, but very tight spaces. They have 2 spots on street. Location is right on town square with restaurants and bars, Supermarket 5 min walk

Central location. Free parking. Nice personnel.

Everything very old. Not so many electric boxes to recharge devices. Parkingspot below in garage a little adventerous becaus of steep ramp.

A very strange experience. I chose this hotel because of the very high rating it got, 9.2. I find it difficult to see how this high rating came to being... Let's start from the best part of this hotel: The staff. They are WONDERFUL! Always do everything they can to help you, really kudos to them. Another good point is the cleanliness of the hotel, it is very good. All the rest is dubious. The hotel does have free parking places, only I don't know how many. Maybe three, maybe 5. In any case, there are much more rooms in the hotel than that, so don't take free parking for granted. The hotel offers breakfast for 20 Lev that we didn't use, so I can't say how good it is. You can get a nice breakfast in the nearby bakery for less The room we got was rather small, but the crazy thing was the bathroom. The shower was not isolated by anything from the rest of the bathroom. The draining is on the other hand in the center of the bathroom floor and therefore when taking a shower the whole floor of the bathroom is flooded. You might find yourself standing in two centimeters of water. apart from the strangeness of this, being over 70 years old, it is a clear danger for us of slipping. We have changed eventually three rooms, all three had the same issue, so "it is not a bug, it is a feature".... We disliked this "feature" very much and hence the low rating, despite the wonderful staff.
