Spring Rose Cottage is a superb property resting in Fortuneswell, Dorset. Here, you will find three bedrooms, comprising of a family bedroom with twin beds and bunk bed, and two second-floor double bedroom, together sleeping eight people. Completing the interior is a family bathroom, a kitchen and a sitting/dining room with woodburning stove. Outside, there is a terrace garden with table and chairs, with steps down to a barbecue area. Spring Rose Cottage is a superb base for a fun-filled holiday.
Amenities: Gas central heating and woodburning stove. Electric oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, Smart TV with Netflix and Now TV(Sky Channels), DVD player and WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Unrestricted roadside parking nearby. Terrace area with table and chairs, with steps down to the barbecue area. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking allowed. Shop 0.2 miles, pub 0.1 miles. Check in is after 6pm. Please note: Parking directly outside the house is not advised due to the narrow road. Please note that Fortuneswell is on the side of a hill and so is steep in places.

Lovely property over three floors. Very close to the end of Chesil beach - downhill to the beach and a little uphill through the shortcut steps back to the property. Property could be cleaner and tidier but that could be us who are used to tidy places. The dishwasher was not emptied when we arrived. The living area is small for full capacity of 8 people. The cushions on sofas could do with a refresh. To remote didn’t work properly but the tv had Netflix. WiFi signal is great. Great utilities in the kitchen and love the outdoor seating areas over two levels. Our first time in Portland and will certainly be back. Parking is not ideal and neighbours get twitchy about parking although the parking are not designated. Can be a challenge for bus cars to access the property to load and unload luggage.

Spacious property over 3 floors each reached by narrow stairs, 2 bathrooms, rear patio area and decking at first floor level which is accessed via the main bathroom There is no parking outside the property, our nearest parking place was Cesil Cove, about 10 min walk, up steep hill. Property was not presented at the best standards, and is in need of a spruce upGenerally, OK, but don’t stay here if you have trouble with steep hills
