Great location

Excellent location. The property was on a quiet street but was walkable to the Clifton Suspension Bridge in one direction & the city centre in the other.As the walk was along the waterside it was lovely. The kitchen was well equipped &the rooms were spacious.

Having only a bath & no shower available was difficult for 6 older ladies.There was also only one wc available which also was difficult for the large number of guests that the house accommodates . The heating kept stopping & needed attention frequently to keep the house warm which was necessary for our stay in December.

Just a couple of observations:- The window blinds need a good clean as they are very dirty. The kitchen is well equipped but needs a good clean as some of the equipment was a bit sticky and we had to wash before use and some of the mugs were chipped. Also grill rack was filthy.

Lovely spacious house

Really lovely spacious house in a great location. Easy walk up to Clifton and 20 mins along the river to the centre. Very convenient for the Bristol ferry from Mardyke, fantastic river trip all the way back to the station. There is a Spar shop not far away for basic supplies.

Needed a bit more info about how the heating worked.

A nice sizeable house albeit not as clean with parking challenges

The house was dirty including the cutlery and crockery. The parking was not as straightforward as first described; the host did not sort out parking permits, so we were forced to move our car every four hours or park the car far away from the property. Check-in instruction quote the wrong time 12:00 instead of 16:00 which generate some confusion. The towels were wet upon arrival.

Great location, great value

The location was really good and the house was spacious. Communication with the hosts was easy and friendly and overall the stay was pretty seamless. I would also add that in terms of size and location, number of beds and bedrooms the property was absolutely fantastic value for money.

Property was a little bit tired - could use a bit of an uplift in places. The bedrooms all had white blinds that didn't do a great job in keeping the light out, and were broken in one of the rooms (as was the bidet in the bathroom). It was also a little light on cooking equipment, with no baking dish for example. These are small niggles, however. We did really enjoy our stay and were overall very happy with the property

The house was comfortable for my family of four.

Some of the things need to change . The Toilet door lock does not work. And one of the rooms on the second floor door nob faulty. The water kettle is old . Not healthy to drink.

Liked the location even though it is not on the waterfront. House was lovely, a great size and plenty of room. Garden needed some care as it was a little overgrown. Would have been nice to have better seating outside. . Facilities were good and would recommend.

Took a while to get the fridges working properly. Instructions for oven, TV etc would have been good.

Fantastic location

Fantastic location. Good sized house with plenty of space, well equipped kitchen. Nice seating area outside in secure yard, so great if you have a dog. Good shower in bathroom. Felt good value for money.

Blip with the cleaning but quickly rectified by hosts. As previous reviews, only one bathroom and no initial contact after payment, but very responsive host when contacted, including sorting permits. Bathroom door could do with bolt rather than lock as was bit tricky to unlock, and a few more forks would be great, but did not detract from stay.

Great family stay in Bristol, close to the Harbour

lovely house in a great location. lots of room for a family stay & all the things we needed! (cot, high chair, booster seat) Was nice to have a bit of outdoor space to use as well!

The house was very pleasant, well equipped and location great for our wedding in Clifton.

The house really should have a second bathroom. The current bathroom is huge (although bath tub unusable as no bath plug), this room could be split into two bathrooms. Or a toilet could be installed under the stairs on the ground floor.

Beautiful house.

This was a very beautiful home from home, booked this for family visiting for a wedding and everyone had a wonderful time. Nice and clean, super spacious, amazing location and very easy to access. All communication was prompt and clear with finding and accessing the location a simple process. The home somehow looked better in person than the images.

Enjoyed everything! - would book this again when family are visiting next time.

decent value for money and short tri into city centre. be a lot easier with out a car

only one bathroom for a house that sleeps 8. owners very hard to get hold off. received no welcome back or any instructions on arrival. had to message for details . parking is very complicated with minimum stay car parks only. and all streets resident permit holders.

Great location. We made good use of the garden, kitchen, oven and laundry washer.

The weather was unusually hot while we were there but the property didn't have any fans to improve circulation to cool the room down for sleeping at night. Some rooms couldn't get any breeze through.

Nice stay but not waterfront.

The house was clean and well-equipped. The beds were lovely and comfy, the linen and towels were good quality. The whole place was nicely decorated. It was spacious and there was loads of fridge space. I loved the little garden area. It is a lovely home from home.

The sofas were not very comfy. The house was very hot on the top floor but I guess this will be a bonus in the cold weather. I did phone prior and speak to the host to see if there were fans at the house as we knew the temperature was very warm during our stay; he said he’d get a couple of fans put in the house before our arrival but he didn’t follow through with his promise. Finally, I thought the advert was slightly misleading. It’s says ‘waterfront house’ and there’s a pic of the river so I naturally assumed it was located, looking over the river: it wasn’t. That didn’t make much of a difference to our stay but I did have a vision of looking out and seeing water from the house.
